Savanah Scott is extremely professional in her approach to helping guide me to success. The process is harder than I thought it would be as my metabolism is extremely slow at this time. I have increased by exercise program and paid strict attention to my food plan. Savanah can lead me to succeed and reach my goals. It will take longer than I anticipated, but that is just fine with me.

I work one-on -one, or in a small group, as your personal trainer. Tabata is the style of workout I like and it is a high intensity interval training program that has a number of health benefits. I come to you and give you an energetic 30 minute workout that will kick start your metabolism and help you burn body fat quicker and longer. We will use body weight, dumb bells, and bands for a workout that will slim you down and firm you up.

This Gym is very well equipped and it is for the people that are really serious about training. You won't usually see people texting in between workouts or stuff like that like in other gyms. I like the fact that there are no crowds and there is a LOT of weight for someone who wants to train hardcore. The Crossfit Area is great too! If you are a fat lady who just got motivated over a new years resolution and most likely you'll stop going after January is over... then just go somewhere else. ;) But if you are serious about doing things right and actually changing your lifestyle... this is the right place to be!

Lana's BarBelles has been open for a year, and thank heavens I noticed her sign when I drove by on Cortez Rd. Â It's exactly what I've been looking for -- personal, not "corporate," with a personal trainer I trust to get me back on my feet and strong without injuring myself. I have tried other personal trainers over the years, and each session felt like torture, but with Lana, the time flies and I feel stonger and better by the week! Don't hesitate to talk to her! She will give you the personal attention you deserve!

Denis is a true leader and excellent coach. His guidance took me to the top 20 singles / top 5 doubles ITF player in the world. The work ethic and confidence that he instilled in me were key to achieving my dreams of playing the grand slams and competing against the very best. It's been more than decade since those great days but the skills quickly translated into my personal and professional life. He thought me that the price to success is hard work. I'm proud to have been coached by Denis Pelegrin, a true hero in my life. Now that I am a father of two little ones, I can only dream of my kids to have a selfless individual like Denis as a coach and friend.
Denis aka El Pro Pelegrin, thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Best,
Jaime

Hello! I am from north Atlanta and was in the bradenton, FL area on vacation. While I was here I worked out at several different cf boxes. Cf manatee was by far my favorite! Everyone was warm and welcoming and the coaches are top notch! Lucas, trainer and owner, has it going on here! If I lived in this area this would be my box, no doubt! Thanks for everything!

A certified trainer provides a level of personalization that a group class cannot. By focusing on your specific goals—whether that's recovering from an injury or training for a local event—you'll see faster, safer results.
Safety and expertise should be your top priorities. Ensure your coach holds a credential from a recognized body such as NASM, ACE, or ACSM. If you are looking for high-performance athletic training, look for an NSCA-certified specialist (CSCS).
One of the best ways to lower your bill is the hybrid approach. Use a personal trainer for a weekly check-in to perfect your technique, then apply what you've learned in your own solo workouts at the gym or at home.

I have worked with people of every age, background, and physical status, and have helped each person overcome their obstacles and achieve their fitness goals. I emphasize core strength and functional fitness, both of which produce long-lasting fitness and a widely-gauged ability to do any activity in life a person chooses; at the same time, these emphases provide a foundation for success in individual goals such as sport-specific training, overcoming a physical/medical condition or injury, or simply losing weight. Inotherwords, you need core strength in order to succeed in any kind of activity and prevent injury along the way.
To begin with, I ask many questions about a client’s past history including sports, health issues, family history and genetics, as well as their current lifestyle, to determine a realistic path forward. Then I write a plan for exercise and nutrition and identify other changes that can be made to improve chances for success (i.e., mindset, self-belief, habits, sleep, stressors). Then I walk beside my client through this programmed path with its changes and growth, and I foster confidence in adapting to a new lifestyle of fitness and health, and mastery of the goals the client seeks to accomplish.
The secret to getting the body of your dreams is 1) Faith in yourself, 2) Commitment to the goal, 3) Consistent effort, 4) Willingness to learn and adapt, and 5) Discipline and Respect for your body!
I love love love working with people of all ages, backgrounds, conditioning, challenges, and goals. Training people to take charge of their health and wellness is a huge passion of mine, and it is so rewarding to see someone not only achieve their goals, but to acquire competence and confidence in mastering their body—which is a HUGE part of mastering one’s life—and I love making such an impact in this person’s life for good.
I never thought I could be an athlete. I grew up with asthma and migraines and was told I could never run or exert myself. I had to sit on the bench all day in Field Day in 6th grade and watch everyone else compete and play and run around. I lived in Hawaii for a brief time in 2005, and it was there that I learned to swim. I ended up taking a masters class to learn better, and three days later I did my first triathlon. To my surprise, I came in fifth in the women’s division and got my name in the newspaper! This was a shining, redefining moment for me, as I realized that I am an athlete. And if I can do this with the limitations I thought I had, anybody can do this. And I wanted to be a part of that discovery. The next month, I got my first personal training certification and started my business shortly thereafter.
I think clients should choose me because I am empathetic, and I can feel their struggles and their desire to succeed. And I have the knowledge and the critical thinking, and the intuition to see how best to proceed each and every session. I have the experience of 18 years of having my own business, and working with people of all kinds, with all goals, and all circumstances; and I have such a passion for watching people grow and succeed, and do things they might never have dreamed possible for themselves.
I can provide live online or remote services via Zoom. I train people live during the Zoom session, meaning I’m with a person virtually as they walk through a workout I’ve written for them. I’m watching their form, breathing, stance, and movement patterns for safety and correctness, and I offer feedback and encouragement throughout each exercise. Then we would discuss plans for getting proper nutrition/eating and discuss details for our next virtual training session and any workouts the client may do independently until I meet with them again online.
The gym I worked at shut down during Covid and I was laid off. I began training folks in their homes or at outdoor open spaces, having discussed their wishes and concerns regarding their need for safety. If they required me to wear a mask, I would do so. We discussed washing hands after each session and just being mindful of our surroundings; sometimes a client would have to cancel because sick family members had been nearby. I left the decisions to each client as to what they required in order to feel comfortable having me train them.
