KD was our point of contact and she went above and beyond with helping us plan out our big day and fit our budget, even when she wasn't in the office. Since we didn't have a wedding planner, she helped us with even the small details that one would usually cover. The staff that worked our wedding were on point - they truly catered to our guests' needs and made sure that we were well fed and well served. They even packed us up to-go boxes because they knew we wouldn't have to eat much. I honestly couldn't have picked a better choice for our wedding.

I first discovered GHBC during a trip to Minneapolis. Loved the cookies and breads and am happy there's one in Austin. I ordered the turkey, avocado, tomatoes, onion, and lettuce with chipotle sandwich and an oatmeal cookie. Both were delicious. The grain bread had pumpkin seeds and was very fresh. I sampled the pumpkin bread, too. The service was excellent, and I liked the assortment of spreads, soup mixes, and oils available for purchase. Â They also cater, which I didn't know. I look forward to my next visit.

I have worked at well known places such as The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, and Uchi/Uchiko here in Austin, TX. Having a global knowledge of food through my education at The Broadmoor and the disciplines of fine dining and sushi from Uchi/Uchiko, I can compose customized fun menus for any occasion, with the guest at the forefront of it all.
My signature dish is a Filipino Chicken Adobo. One of the many national dishes of the Philippines, this is a chicken braised leg with soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, peppercorns and bayleaves served with garlic rice.
To create the perfect menu for my clients, I always listen to what they are celebrating which tells me the vibe they are going for. Usually, they have something specific in mind which I make my own best versions of. Some clients like to be surprised. If they are up for it, I thank them for their trust and blow them away with new creations.
The best part about my job is meeting new people, because I feel like I'm always one person away from a good friendship and several opportunities. Food is a gateway to experiences, a chance to bond and celebrate.
I started my own business since I realized that people started asking me if I could cook for them for more money that I could be earning in restaurants. I love the fluidity of my schedule, and the numerous possibilities of food that come along with it.

I do not provide my services online or remotely. Cooking food always requires a chef's presence but I can deliver my food without any setup or cleanup.
To keep my clients safe from Covid-19, I've made sure to take the steps to protect myself from it. Otherwise, I do NOT require my clients to have vaccinations. If they are sick, I try my best to either reschedule the event or postpone it completely for everyone's safety.
