I appears love the specials at this place! My friends and I don't even call it by name... We just say "dollar margs?" because yes they have $1 margaritas on Thursdays. All day. Except our waitress have me a double and said "oh I don't know how to ring in a single and they're only $2...." Also they got rid of the signs with the happy hour menus, so that makes things harder. Hadn't been there in years but saw on a business trip and had to stop for the Enchiladas Del Mar. They have always been a favorite. This place is worth the visit on a Thursday. The tacos were good, but nothing great. The shredded chicken taco is the best one on the menus by far. The sign is something you have to see, as it is always changing. BUT on Thursdays they have $2 house margs. The margs made this place 110% worth it!!!!! More...

One of the best places we've been to Austin! The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Despite the fact that our waiter had two other tables with 7+ on a Saturday, he still found the time to entertain our three year old and make sure we recieved our orders in a timely manner. From the time we walked in, to the time we left, the entire staff made us feel welcome. On top of the incredible service, every bit of the food was spot on. The steak ranchero was the most tender steak I've ever had at a tex-mex restaurant and prepared exactly as I ordered it.
