Austin Catering did an AMAZING job for our wedding. I work in the industry and I work with some of the best catering companies in town, and Austin Catering is by far the best. I've always been sceptical when it comes to catering food (vs a restaurant), but their food is always so delicious. They also have incredible service. Small things like not slamming the back door during a toast, or putting mac and cheese on my plate even though it wasn't on the menu because they knew it was my favorite. We got so much positive feedback from our guest about how much they loved the food. KD was so great to work with during the planning process, always quickly responsive and willing to help with whatever we needed. 10/10, we will always recommend Austin Catering! More...

INCREDIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE. I can’t say enough good things. Our wedding was all DIY and the caterers handled everything from setup to tear down and seriously everything in between. I never had to worry about a single thing and they even made sure the wedding party had appetizers while they were taking pictures. Austin Catering is a DREAM COME TRUE! Seriously, they are not only a group of extremely talented individuals, but they are just genuinely wonderful people.
From beginning to end we worked with K.D and she was nothing short of phenomenal. She tolerated all of my repeated and absent minded questions and menu changes like a champ and was always supportive.
The team went above and beyond for my guests with vegetarian and gluten free diets by creating appetizers and entrees specifically for them. Seriously, my friend who can only eat GF got an entire plate of appetizers catered to her diet restrictions. I didn't even know they were doing that.
We opted for family style dining and are so happy we did, guests haven't stopped talking about how delicious everything was.

If you are looking for a caterer this is seriously the route to go. We couldn't recommend them more.

We are so glad we chose Austin Catering for our July wedding. Our coordinator, K.D., went above and beyond what we expected. Planning from out of town was a challenge, but she was very accommodating and helpful in making suggestions, as well as ensuring we stayed within our budget. Austin Catering was such a great choice!! Everyone keeps raving about how great the food was! All of it was gluten free (including desserts) and it was so delicious. The catering staff were so quick and continually filled the buffet seamlessly. They were very caring to my husband and I and even packed up a plate and desserts for each of us to take with us. The bartenders were great as well, I don't recall a line ever forming and we had 130 people. Seriously I cant recommend this catering company enough! We used Austin Catering for our wedding this past weekend and we were SO IMPRESSED. The food tasted wonderful and the buffet line went so smoothly and guests couldn't complement the food enough. The wait staff were phenomenal and made sure every guest was taken care of, especially myself and my husband. The bartenders were absolutely amazing. There was never a line and yet everyone had a drink in their hand the entire night.
We had the pleasure of working with Lisa throughout our wedding process and she was absolutely wonderful. She was incredibly responsive and made sure every single detail was exactly the way we wanted it.

We had the pleasure of working with K.D. at Austin Catering and have nothing but great things to say! Throughout the whole planning process, it was clear that K. D. was very knowledgeable and a great resource to go to for advice and suggestions. One thing that really made Austin Catering stand out to us was the way they plate their food. I was very hesitant to do a buffet style food service at my wedding, but seeing their food presentation and how everything was plated on beautiful serving dishes and not standard chaffing dishes was a huge plus! Most importantly though, the food was absolutely INCREDIBLE! Our friends and family raved about the food and drinks - specifically the smoke salmon. I am still amazed that they were able to keep the food tasting so delicious when feeding around 200 people. The whole evening truly couldn't have been better and Austin Catering played a major role in making it so special. We worked with K.D. at Austin Catering and had an AMAZING experience. K.D. was so knowledgeable and experienced, so we felt comfortable that she would ensure everything went smoothly. We were able to have several meetings with her leading up to the wedding to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted (not only a food tasting, but also selecting serving dishes and running through our timeline and vision). We did a buffet, but they made it so gorgeous by using serving platters and bringing the food out in small batches rather than chafing dishes. The food was DELICIOUS - we got so many compliments from our guests after the wedding on how amazing the food was. The service was also fantastic - they even set up a romantic little private able for my husband and I to eat dinner before our grand entrance, which was such a nice surprise and a great moment for us to spend with each other in the middle of the wedding. Austin Catering provided excellent food and bar services at a reasonable price! Our table settings were beautiful (which they provided) and everyone loved the Texas BLT Bites for the appetizers! Even 5 days after the wedding, people have still told me how much they loved the food and the blue goblets at the tables! She even had the waiter's attire go with the theme of my wedding without me even asking. We went to multiple tastings where there was always something off. But then we visited Austin Catering and were blown away! Their tasting was incredible! The menu was everything we were looking for and was very surprised by how delicious their beef tenderloin was!!!! We were freaked out when we learned that our planner was leaving the company before our wedding! Then, we received a call that the owner herself was personally going to coordinate our wedding! Simply amazing. From the initial inquiry and tasting through clean up on our wedding night the Austin Catering crew was phenomenal. KD helped coordinate everything behind the scenes then on the actual day the on-site team (Emily, Mervyn and so many others) made everything perfect. The food was phenomenal plus the team was so kind and friendly that it felt more like they were friends than servers. I hunted for a while for the perfect caterer. Originally, I wanted to go with something on the cheaper side. The two that my venue suggested never got back to me! I then decided to contact Austin Catering. K.D. was very responsive, answering all of my questions from Day 1! She invited us to an event to try a selection of their dishes. We drove 2 hours after work to go, and we were not disappointed! The food was amazing, and talking with K.D. in person gave me all of the confidence I needed to choose them as our caterer. The price I paid for catering ended up being very reasonable compared other options and was well worth the peace of mind that came with it. On the day of the wedding, the entire staff was amazing. The person running point on dining room set-up did everything I asked and was extremely efficient. He advised me to set up the buffet inside so that my guests were not miserable standing over hot food outside, and he could not have been more right! The head of the bartending made sure he understood my vision on which bars I wanted to use during which parts of the night. There was no detail left out. K.D. continued to do an amazing job overseeing everything on the wedding day as well. I'm a perfectionist and can pretty much always find a point for improvement for any service I use, but Austin Catering exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend hiring them! More...

Austin Catering was great to work with start to finish. The caterer manager, K.D., was easy to work with, down to earth and professional every step of the way. She guided the process with excellent care, a steady hand and 5-star accommodations. She took care of everything we needed and there was never a moment that we didn't feel loved and cared for by K.D. and her entire team. Now, the food...the food was excellent! We had a tasting and that was so much fun and it helped us make the final decisions about the wedding menu. We had pork with chimichurri, pecan-crusted chicken with peach chutney, spring salad with strawberries and chevre, roasted vegetables, penne pasta with tomatoes and basil and rosemary rolls. The menu was delicious and seriously, everyone enjoyed dinner! Oh, and the passed appetizer, fritti artichoke - to die for! The staff could not have been nicer, more efficient and they knew our venue like the back of their hand which was great, we were at Mercury Hall. Austin Catering exceeded our expectations. Not only was the service amazing, but our guests raved about the food selections. They accommodated our needs and made last minute changes up to the day before our wedding. KD was our point of contact and she went above and beyond with helping us plan out our big day and fit our budget, even when she wasn't in the office. Since we didn't have a wedding planner, she helped us with even the small details that one would usually cover. The staff that worked our wedding were on point - they truly catered to our guests' needs and made sure that we were well fed and well served.
