What’s your signature dish?

Executive Chef and Co-founder Bryan Lewis has perfected our recipes over years of learning and is supported by Master Chef Patrick Beal, who has 14 years in the Neapolitan Pizza world. Our twist on classic neapolitan pies garnered rave reviews all across the greater Atlanta area from Rome GA to Chattahoochee Hills winning the coveted NACE Awards in our first-ever appearance in the competition. Our 'less-is-more' philosophy coupled with highest quality toppings including fresh greens, aged cheeses and locally sourced toppings ensures our signature pies always taste fresh and delicious with Fan favorites including our very own Pistachio Pesto and seasonal Farmers Pie with white sauce. Hard to beat our Braised Meatballs as these are also a big fan favorite. Our salads also play to our less-is-more style with incredible house dressings or your choice.

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?

First and foremost by listening. We do have our signature apps, sides, salads and pies, but we listen carefully for cues on what our customers are seeking. Our twist on everything from Corporate breakfast events to the late night wedding snacks are hard to beat and more often than not, we serve surprising and incredibly delicious takes on everything we serve...that go beyond the standard 'been there done that' menu's traditionally found with normal catering. Our having a wood-fired brick oven certainly is an important difference in our hot, fresh service - all coming on the back of our gorgeous 1953 Vintage Truck we call 'Belle'

What do you love most about your job?

We blow people away at every event!!! No matter where we go...folks fall in love with our truck, staff and food - and take time to discover our wood-fired oven, beer taps and it is rewarding to be a part of such a cool offering.

What inspired you to start your own business?

We're a family with a rich entrepreneurial history and our children, including Exec Chef Bryan Lewis, who already has a solid number of successes under his belt in the event, advertising, restaurant, catering and real estate fields...so we are all comfortable breaking ground on new ideas and certainly Southern Crust Catering - which features our fully restore mobile vintage catering trucks are among the families hottest new offering.
