We just stopped in after finding the restaurant last minute on Yelp. So glad we did!The meats are all fresh(not some “gyro” meat loaf made in a factory, with gluten in it to keep it binded, and then shipped here), hand sliced, hand stacked onto the rotisserie, and then cut fresh for your order. I had a Greek salad with the spit-roasted pork & a side of Yia Yia’s fries and Brian has the Village salad with the spit-roasted pork & a side of falafel.Everything was delicious and this could easily become our favorite Atlanta Greek spot, it didn’t disappoint even for a second! The food was fantastic, this was a last minute find on yelp and it did NOT disappoint!The quality was unmatched for Atlanta's Greek food that I have had so far. I can't eat the "gyro"(really shipped in meat loaf) from other restaurants because there is gluten in it as a binder. All of the meats are fresh, hand stacked on the rotisserie's, and fresh cut for your order. This is such a welcome find that I may only be going to this restaurant for awhile! The most authentic Greek food in the Cumberland/ vinings area ! I go here at least once a week because it’s so delicious. The staff is so friendly and they make the food so fast . This place has very good Greek food and if you get to order at the counter you will get exactly what you want.... if you order directly to the line cooks, you will inevitably not get what you intended. I get the Zeus gyro almost every time I go, which is plenty, and I always order it without tomatoes and onions, but with feta and kalamata olives... I rarely get it the way I want it but it is always tasty! The fries on the gyro give it a nice touch, too.Whether you get fries, rice, or veggies as your side you will be happy!I haven't been hungry enough for desert but it looks authentic and delicious. This spot is always such a great atmosphere to have a meal at! I usually go for lunch and there is a significant rush around the 12 o'clock hour, but they always make an effort to get the orders fulfilled efficiently. I recommend The Zeus because it has lamb in it. Their salads are also good, too.
