Suya, jollof rice, fried plantain, and Diet Coke. Brought back fond memories. Would have had a Gulder (which they stock), but it was during work hours!

I have to give credit where credit is due. My family and I were on our way to an African restaurant near Memorial Drive. We decided to call beforehand to see if they had isi ewu and they said no. Nkwobi? Another no. Then we called Ike’s and they didn’t have either soup. Ok. We called Kingsway and no one bothered to answer the phone. Although we were nearly in Stone Mountain, I suggested calling Nations in Sandy Springs. Though they didn’t have it, the cook said he would to make it. NONE OF THE OTHER RESTAURANTS WE CALLED EVEN OFFERED THAT. None of the African restaurants in Atlanta are 5 star but if I had to choose, I’d choose Nations again and again simply because they have a better concept of customer service than the rest of their competitors. Their food is good but I must say that they need to use better containers for their to go orders. More...

Suya was awesome. I had pounded yam and Nsala. Tasted very good. Palm Wine wasn't that great so steer clear. Service was friendly and very prompt. When I am back in town, I will try the peanut soup. Second visit: ordered Hen and Goat Stew and Jollof. Not a lot of jollof but the stew was phenomenal. More...

Not fast food, don't be in a hurry. Veggies were perfectly cooked. Lunch special around $10 wasn't worth the wait, but not many African options around - so can't complain.

They have an expansive menu but I always get the fried tilapia with jollof rice and plantain. It's always fresh and delicious, large portions so I can understand why they're a little pricey. Call ahead because it takes 25 minutes to prepare. The restaurant is usually empty and I've always ordered to go so I'm in and out. My first time reading the other reviews and I'm shocked. More...

I come to this restaurant all the time. I have been impressed by how the cook takes time to understand you when there is a problem. I ordered a curry chicken with rice and peas but when it came out it wasn't what I expected. Rice was too sugary and sticky and the chicken wasn't boneless. I told the waiter.Overall, I am happy with how they handled my complaints and made sure I left happy. Thanks to for the time you guys took to hear my opinions. Will come back any day! More...
