Came here for dinner after work. They took over the Old Manor Cafe that change to American restaurant that is now Vietnamese. My husband had the coconut curry noodle soup, I had the seafood noodle with white pepper, it was during happy hour so we had salt and pepper chicken wing and the shrimp. It would've been nice if our water glass was refilled.?

We had Paella and More for our wedding last week and it was incredible! We continue to get so many compliments on the food! We had a large seafood paella, a smaller chicken and chorizo and a veggie paella. Our friends loved all of them and loved having the options. We've been enjoying the leftovers for days!! Had such an amazing event! Couldn't be happier with how easy everything was thanks to the whole staff at GGC. The servers were professional, the food was just as beautiful as it was tasty and I am just seriously over the moon with everything that they accomplished. We had another caterer before GGC that canceled on us last min due to something with their kitchen in Oakland, but GGC didn't miss a beat, they were quick to pick up the pieces and pulled off an amazing event in 6 days time! My primary contact person at La Bonne was Elaine Herman. From the get-go, she was friendly, informative and just on it. They were actually the only caterer we met with because after our first meeting and tasting with them, we just knew they were "the ones." After the wedding, we received multiple compliments on the delicious appetizers and dinner, the presentation of the food (they serve the appetizers on these really cool trays) and just the professionalism of the wait staff. If we ever have any catering needs in the future, we would absolutely hire them again. They are the best!

I always assumed I would have my own business. My parents were small business owners. So, it wasn't a big leap for me.
If you're involved with the Arts, you automatically are involved with having your own business. Opening a catering business was the right direction for me because of my love of food.
I also like the ability to decide how many jobs I want to accept. For example, I only accept one large job per week. I like devoting my time to one event at a time, verses having a large company that doesn't offer a personal touch.
