This is my dream job. I get to design flowers. I'm naturally a caretaker. I spend my effort taking care of all living things around me. Flowers are the major part of them. I like helping people. If anyone comes to me with questions, I do my best to answer them. This is a very rewarding job, too. I love to see my clients' happy faces when I deliver their orders.
After learning basic floral design, I had two jobs at flower shops where things were not properly done. At one place, all they gave their flowers was vinegar water. At the other place, they gave their flowers flower food which was good but they never conditioned them properly so they didn't last. Sometimes they had me go to a grocery store in the same shopping center to get more flowers and sold them for way more money. As a floral designer, I am responsible for maximizing the beauty and longevity of floral materials. I wanted to start my own business where I have control over the quality of floral materials I sell to my clients.
