Once I get to know the student and how they learn best, their attitude toward math quickly changes to a positive one. Seeing the smiles on their face and the positive language they start to use and seeing their math grades and understanding grow substantially just makes my day. I do this for those moments with students.
I was inspired to start this business after teaching in the school system for a decade and constantly witnessing student struggles in mathematics and the lack of individualized support for these students. I decided that there must be a way to fill in all those little gaps and help students feel more confident and be more successful in a fun way. After brainstorming solutions to every issue I saw students struggling through, I put those solutions into action and am offering them to you. I have a deep passion for mathematics as well as teaching and just seeing my clients succeed is all the excitement needed to keep me running this business. I am uniquely qualified for this position. In addition to my 10 years of teaching experience in the classroom, I am also a Current Certified Mathematics Teacher, and AP Calculus AB & BC Certified. I earned my B.S. in Mathematics with an Education minor and my M.S. in Educational Media Design & Technology.

We have an online classroom. You simply download Zoom for free onto your device before your first session. Then you simply log in to your member portal and click the blue "join" button to enter the online classroom. In the classroom, we can see each other through video, and we can also hear each other. Each student is also assigned a personalized whiteboard which we will work on together during the sessions. The student can also access this whiteboard anytime outside of the session to study or review the lesson/problems. They can download each page of the whiteboard to a PDF and print to add to their notes. Being in the online classroom is very similar to being in person. Even my local students eventually switch to online because it is more convenient and they get the same amount of learning completed during the session.
If you attend in person and want your teacher to wear a mask, then all you have to do is ask and we will comply. You can also request that we clean the classroom before your session.
