What do you love most about your job?

Getting an e-mail or text informing me that a student has earned an A!

Hearing a student say..."I GET IT!!!"...and it's true.

What inspired you to start your own business?

My parents both dedicated their lives to education. My dad ran a major public school system and my mother taught in a one room school house after graduating from college during the Great Depression.

I felt that teaching was in my blood, so I became a professor and also a tutor so I could assist students who had learning differences, like I do. I overcame them and I wanted to help others do so, too.

Why should our clients choose you?

I dedicate many hours helping a student by creating personalized notes that require an acute knowledge of how they learn. I NEVER charge for this. I charge on a sliding scale depending upon the difficulty of the course. Obviously, teaching Astrophysics is more work than teaching Geometry, as an example,

I guarantee my work with refunds or free lessons when the student is doing everything they can to improve and is still not making progress.

I am available on a moment's notice 24/7/365 and can create an answer key much more quickly than most.

I am a Master teacher with decades of experience. I am not "fresh out of college" with the idea that tutoring is easy and is the same as being good at a subject...it is an art that takes years to "perfect". I have been helping students get into their first choice college or the top 5% of their class longer than many tutors have been alive. This is my life's work and I take it VERY seriously.

I don't make excuses; I make great students.

Of course I offer a free lesson. Why should you pay to find out whether you and a potential tutor are a match?

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can Zoom with a client of I can "come in person" within a reasonable commute of sat 50 miles. Some students require more engagement during a lesson, and when that's the case, I do everything I can to "be there" for them, although having a minor in theater/arts and having hosted a successful radio show "Stump the Professor" in Los Angles, Denver and Seattle, I am no stranger to holding the attention of a student, remotely.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I mostly teach, these days, remotely, but I have been vaccinated 4 times and I wear a mask when I teach at college or in person.
