This fitness business is specifically designed for youth and children around age 8 and above. As far as I have been able to find they are the only franchised chain of fitness centers that offer what they do for the younger ages. They have a unique program that fits kids physical development and needs and they have excellent coaches and trainers. I have checked into quite a few other "brands" of so-called youth or kids fitness programs and they always fell into two categories. They either were for very young kids (while parents worked out) and were "fun, games and babysitting" or they were for preteen to high school kids and they were all working out on the same weight machines and bikes just doing the "adult" exercise program. The YES Kids Fitness guys have a total, made-for-kids and youth, program and system.I have seen them coaching and conditioning entire young soccer teams at their center. I have seen small group fitness classes and individual trainer-student sessions with kids working their tails off and enjoying it. Even though their methods may vary with various age groups and needs, nothing they do is dangerous or physically inappropriate for the "physical age and development" of the students. On Monday and Thursday nights at about 7:30 to 9:00 they have a parents or adults class taught by two of their top trainers and it is everything you would get with a hands on trainer coaching you. It is very tough and I love it. Oh, yeah, I don't know about all the centers or how long they will do this but the two evening classes only cost $2 a session and you can come or not whatever fits your schedule.
