That Nourished Life

I help women move from survival mode to living the life they want by honoring all they are, all they've been through to get here, and all they can be by saying yes to themselves. I do this through private coaching sessions. Choose from 3 session, 6 session, and 12 session coaching packages. I specialize in helping (but am not limited to) women who are going through divorce.

What do you love most about your job?

I love helping women gain the confidence to connect to their personal power to change their life. I believe that we have a choice in how we want to experience our life and I teach that to my clients. I love when a client goes from being the victim of their life to taking ownership over what they want to create for themselves.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I spent 10 years as a divorce attorney, and was never fully happy in my job. I wanted to work individually with clients to help create transformation in their lives and feel empowered to pursue their dreams, something I couldn't do as an attorney. I took my own advice and made a career shift to coaching. I haven't looked back since!

Why should our clients choose you?

I am a Certified Transformational Life Coach and believe that creating change is not just about developing new habits. It's about digging deeper to connect to who you truly are, shifting limiting beliefs that might be holding you back, and taking empowered action. Coaching is all about accountability, the right system, and the right support. The key for me is having the right system to work through. I meet my clients where they are, help them to take bite-sized chunks to move forward, and gently stretch them to see the possibilities. My clients become clear on what they want, connect to their true desires, and become the author of their life. My job as their coach is to help them get there.

Your professional life coach will be able to advise you on the full range of coaching available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted life coach today.

You can have as many or as few life coaching sessions as you like. Many life coaches operate over the phone or via the internet so the sessions can easily fit around your schedule. Some people hire a life coach once every few months, some people have a session once a week.

Life coaching sessions will typically last up to an hour. Often after an initial assessment, sessions can be conducted over the phone, face to face, over email, via Skype/Zoom and occasionally through instant messaging.

During the session, your life coach will ask you a number of questions, such as what you want to achieve in life, what areas you're unhappy with and where you'd like to see yourself in the future. Although a life coach will work with you, it’s often up to you to challenge or reflect upon certain ideas you have to help you move forward with your life. You will never be forced to make any decisions you don't feel comfortable with and all sessions will be confidential.

Life coaching is focused on your present and your future. Coaching accepts your current reality and looks to improve your outcome moving forward. Life coaches are not health professionals and they do not diagnose you. By contrast, therapy focuses on your past and looks to delve into past actions and patterns. It is analytical but not action-oriented.

Most mainstream health insurance providers do not cover the costs of life coaching because it is not considered a mental health profession in the same way therapists and counsellors are.

Life coaches do not need to have any formal or academic qualifications but you may want to look for life coaches who possess an industry-specific qualification, such as the Life Coaching Diploma or Personal Performance Diploma (PPD).

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark, which shows you reviews from past customers who have used their life coaching services.

A life coach is a trained professional who aims to help and guide individuals to make, meet and exceed personal and professional goals. They support clients on a journey to rediscover their own strength and abilities. This can include excelling in the workplace, becoming happy and fulfilled at home, exploring your potential, managing health conditions and achieving life ambitions.

By harnessing techniques based on core psychological principles and intuition, life coaches empower clients and provide a toolkit of teachings to confidently face difficult challenges and overcome emotional barriers.

Life coaches can specialise in one of these particular areas of coaching: career coaching, executive business, group coaching, health and wellbeing, performance management, personal development, relationships, retirement, spiritual and youth coaching.

Rapport is one of the most important parts of life coaching. If you feel uncomfortable with your professional, you are unlikely to gain much from the session. It is advisable to get in contact before you book a session to meet your life coach so you can gauge how comfortable you are in their presence. It is worth talking to a few potential life coaches and ask questions.

Yes! As long as you have a strong internet connection, then your life coach can deliver sessions via an online video chat platform. Alternatively, it can be done over the phone.
