Hi there! I'm an interior designer with a passion for taking everyday homes from "blah" to "voila"! It's my mission to help you create a home that feels so good, you might as well be sipping a salt-rimmed strawberry margarita on a sandy beach in Tulum. I offer virtual and in-person services to send you right on your way to staycation bliss.
It's important to me to create a design that is personal and unique to each client. Here's what I'll ask of you to make sure we achieve just that:
1. Spend about 20 minutes collecting inspiration before we meet. This can be on Pinterest, Houzz, or even just Google Images.
2. Send me your inspiration board as well as photos of the room you want to design at least 24 hours before our design meeting.
3. We'll meet for 90 minutes (this can be over video conference or in person if you're local) to hash out your design plan and answer all of your burning questions.
4. Depending on the service you choose, I'll develop a curated product list with links so you know exactly what to buy and don't have to waste valuable time hunting for the elusive perfect piece. This list will be emailed to you within three business days of our design session.
5. I'll be available to you via email support to answer any residual design questions for two weeks following our session.
6. Pop the champagne and revel in your beautiful home!
I specialize in creating designs unique to each client, and work with a wide range of styles and combinations.
My personal favorites are midcentury modern, sophisticated French country, California cool, and transitional. I equally love the bright, all-white look and the dark, moody feel, and jump at the chance to play with color.
I love getting to be creative and helping my clients improve their lives by transforming their home. I believe that your home sets the tone for each day, which makes it so important to have a home that feels like your super encouraging best friend, not that mean girl from high school who tries to steal your boyfriend.
I worked in corporate America for almost seven years, and decided to start my own business in search of more meaning and to be able to make a bigger impact on people's lives. As one of my favorite authors, Elizabeth Gilbert, said on her podcast, "Any talent that we have and do not use becomes a burden". I felt called to use my creativity and love of interior design to help people create their dream home.
I believe every person has a unique design style that can't be fit squarely into a category. I help my clients find their own personal style, and then create a design that makes their heart sing (and functions to support their lifestyle).
Beyond the results (which are muy importante), I also believe that the design process should be FUN! I'll often recommend having your favorite drink at the ready for our design meetings, and will celebrate every decision and progress pic right along with you.
