The first step is to get eyes on the space in question. If that is remote it would be via a Zoom or Facetime call. During this meeting we would chat about the hopes and dreams for the space as well as an anticipated budget.
From there, a Design Agreement Fee would be required for concepts to be produced. This fee varies based on the scope of the job, but typically is in the range of $1,000.
Once the concept phase is done and the general direction for the design has been agreed upon, the detail work begins. This is where the material and product specifications comes in and the technical drawings are made. An estimated total for the Interior Design Package would be addressed and agreed upon within a detailed Design Contract before work on the package continues.
While every person has their own personal style, it is my belief that an Interior Designer's duty is to be a chameleon. In that respect, my style is your style. If you aren't sure what your style is, we will find it together! Regardless, all styles can be served - ranging from Rustic Tuscan to Ultra Contemporary.
Interacting with people to bring out their personal and signature look is an amazing experience. Seeing the look on client's faces when everything is said and done really does make the ups and downs of construction worth it.
After working for multiple local design-build firms and gaining all of that experience, I wanted to have more control over the budgeting and expectation side of things with my clients. I've always believed that having an honest conversation and weighing options always yields better results than hiding or masking the truth to push something through.
I am a down to earth trained designer who really is out here with the goal of making other people's wishes come true. I don't push people into things nor do I take a back seat - if you contract with me you have a partner and we see it through, step by step, together.
My services are best if they are in person, however remote work is possible. It truly depends on the job, however, so it is best to inquire if remote work is possible for the job at hand.
I have a mask on me at all times and generally keep a reasonable distance, however if more precautions are needed or requested I am ready to accommodate.
