I worked in radio and entertainment for many years. About ten years ago, I understood the power of video. Words on a page tend to just reinforce a reader's preconceived perception. A picture is very helpful. But with video, people see a product or service in action--it comes alive. They can get a real sense of what the experience will be like for them.
I started filming weddings, baptisms, and special events for churches and friends. Eventually, I moved up to doing promotional videos for my church and for a community theater group and started recording classical voice recitals for my son and his classmates.
Eventually, my hobby turned into a side business. Now, I get to tell stories and preserve memories.
