Jay Reid Psychotherapy
I customize therapy to fit each client’s specific needs and goals for therapy. Once we know where you are trying to go, I may use a variety of tactics to support you in this process. Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy may be helpful with difficult symptoms of depression or anxiety. If you notice a pattern of holding yourself back when on the cusp of achieving major successes, we can explore in-depth what might feel dangerous about succeeding.
In meeting with Jay I felt instantly at ease. He is kind, open and easy to talk with. I felt heard and understood by him. As a therapist, his strengths include working with people to heal past trauma and establish fulfilling relationships in the present. He's really knowledgeable about the field, while being humble and approachable. I'm glad I connected with him and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and kind therapist.

Wellspace is an integrative practice of licensed psychotherapists, life coaches, nutrition and wellness practitioners dedicated to a common goal: guiding, inspiring, and empowering individuals to live authentic, happy, and healthy lives. From navigating personal and professional roadblocks, to achieving optimal health and wellness, our interdisciplinary team provides innovative support and guidance tailored to the specific needs and gifts of each client.
We worked with Kristy at Wellspace to help our daughter deal with some food-related issues and we couldn't be happier with the support we received. Kristy was always pleasant and positive in our interactions and it was obvious that she was extremely knowledgeable and able to provide expert guidance. She set up a system for us to help our daughter through an elimination diet that was very clear, orderly, and well supported. While we worked through this challenging exercise, Kristy always made it doable by providing recipes and resources. She even sent us things during the week like recipes that were aligned with our daughter's preferences. For example, if our daughter said she missed eating pretzels, Kristy would hunt down a great pretzel recipe and send it right away. She listened carefully to what we shared and made sure she understood our needs exactly by asking very astute and helpful questions. Kristy was very adept at looking holistically at what we were trying to do and could not only address the specific nutritional issues, but she was also able to understand and address the impact of stress and the larger context of our daughter’s daily experiences to provide an integrated solution. Furthermore, she was also very skilled at eliciting information and analyzing emerging patterns to better adjust the plan on an ongoing basis. We couldn’t have done it without Kristy and highly recommend her!

With over 150 medical references Functional Emotional Fitness™ represents a scientific breakthrough in mental health, and it has done this without meds, labels or personal history. This has been accomplished by defining ‘Normal’ in an industry, which only defines broken or disordered. Without a definition of “Normal,” virtually anyone on the planet is open to diagnosis of a disorder and subject to endless harmful medications.
One of the coolest things about the Burris Institute Coaching program is that it is simple and straight forward yet powerful and highly effective. One of the truths within the world of life transformation is this: "Change your thoughts and change your life."
Through this simple, straightforward and effective program, individuals learn how to quickly gain hold of their thought processes and change them--and can track their progress on their own based on the data from how they answer what I call their "snap shot in life questions"--unlike traditional "counseling" where progress is based on what the counselor says, here individuals are in charge and can see for themselves the progress that is being made. The coach is just a guide--the individual is really the source and cause of their own healing. :-)
I cannot say enough good things about this coaching platform--but I will add, like all good things, this must be experienced to really and truly understand! :-)

Natalie Moore | Holistic Psychotherapy
Hi, I'm Natalie.
And my passion is helping people live more peaceful, meaningful lives. Through holistic therapy in Pasadena, my mission is to provide people with the support and tools they need to be the best version of themselves.
I believe that in order to be truly happy, one must attend to the health of mind, body and spirit.
This perspective blends elements of traditional Western psychology with Eastern philosophies of healing (such as meditation, mindfulness, yoga and other mind/body practices.
"I’ve been a friend and colleague of Natalie’s for 2 years now and have been able to consult with her on many clinical situations. She and I share similar views about how children and families heal from difficult times in their lives. I would feel comfortable referring clients to her in her private practice."
Carla Black MFT, Inc.
I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families.
I am also an expert in Emotional Support Animal Assessments.
Carla was very kind and understanding. She has a really interesting story for how she got started in therapy. It's clear she cares very much about what she does and about helping people. She described it as her "calling" and I think that's true. She listened to me, and offered a unique perspective. Thank you Carla.

As a spiritual seeker and a student of life, I dream to live in a world of compassion, expression and cousiousness. I believe one big way we can create this world is through community -- building our tribes, sharing our stories and uniting together for support and growth.
Welcome. I would love to help you take the steps needed to improve the quality of your life. The process of taking the next step itself can be concerning -- each part, from contemplation to action, deserves care and attention.
People often see me when they have tried everything. Imagine what you could achieve if you got straight to the point.
