Services

Individual Therapy is a collaborative process. It is an opportunity for self-reflection, growth and healing. I offer a safe non-judgmental space in which one can process trauma, pain, or dysfunction in order to begin the healing process.

Couples counseling involves exploring your relationship from both partners perspectives and learning what goals you have for your relationship. We help clients build intimacy, clarify expectations within their relationship, work through relationship challenges, and improve communication.

It is important to have an identity as a couple, but it is just as important to maintain an identity as individuals. Thus, your relationship is critical as are each partners' individual beliefs and expectations for themselves and their life together.

I have an understanding of child development, child and adolescent mental health, child behavioral problems, parent–child relationships, and family issues. Through activity-based and play therapy, children often engage with the therapist rapidly and embrace therapy. I use creative techniques that use more than just dialogue; this seems effective in getting children to accept the help they need.

My goals are to help children manage their behaviors, work through the emotions that are troubling them, understand their experiences, and learn new and corrective behaviors. I also help parents better understand and support their children. The overall goal is to help parents have better relationships with their children.

When working with adolescents, I strive to create a relationship that fosters trust and growth. When working with teens, I help them cultivate the tools they need to thrive and navigate both relationships at home, within their family, and with peers.
