Q&As

Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life!
Dramatically change your relationships and the way you feel by identifying, understanding and dealing directly with the underlying causal thoughts through self-inquiry and acceptance.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic approach that is effective for the treatment of a variety of conditions. The premise of CBT is that changing maladaptive thinking leads to a change in one's mood and in behavior. CBT techniques help individuals challenge their belief patterns and replace "errors in thinking" with more realistic and effective thoughts. The result is a decrease in emotional distress and self-defeating behaviors.

CBT promotes a more open, mindful, and aware attitude which diminishes the impact maladaptive thoughts and increases adaptive coping skills, emotions and behaviors.

Experience Peace, Happiness & Satisfying Relationships Through Self-Inquiry
Changing the way we THINK about something, changes how we FEEL. Since there is always more than one way to think about something, how we feel about Self, Relationships and Life Circumstances is completely within our control.

I have over 25 years of experience working with children, teens and adults who are experiencing emotional or behavioral issues including: depression, anxiety, anger management, ADHD, PTSD, substance abuse and addictions, as well as family, relational, military and LGBT issues.

I received my Master's degree in Counseling from California State University, Long Beach and my Bachelor's degree in Communications from Temple University in Philadelphia. I maintain active licensure in the states of California, Florida, Michigan and Texas.
