I am so thankful to have found this gym! For years I have wanted to find an exercise experience that motivated and challenged me. I got super lucky that The Fusion House popped up right down the block from my new apartment in West Harrison. Since I joined less than 2 months ago, so much has changed. I fit into clothes that I haven't in years, I have definition in places I never have, I have more energy and confidence in my fitness ability. Before I joined Fusion House, I had little to no experience in the types of classes they offer (I usually just run), I was nervous and a little intimidated but the instructors are AMAZING. They really pay attention to the individual needs of the students and tailor the workouts to challenge and support you. I took Angelica's Running Club class last Saturday and with her guidance and advice, I was able to cut one minute off of my mile run!!! That is a huge accomplishment after only taking one class with her! I ran a 5K this Sunday that I have ran for the past 17 years and at 40 years old, I paced my fastest time ever! These trainers know what they are doing and I'm so excited to keep working with them! If you are on the fence about joining this gym, jump off and sign up!!!

I Sprained my ankle while playing softball this year and was referred to an Orthopedist. Being that it wasn't my first sprain, I knew that physical therapy and aspirin to keep the swelling down was going to be their only solutions. My wife had been going to Dr. Rob for some back pain and was very happy with her treatment. She recommended seeing him as well for a second opinion and possibly a speedier solution. I am extremely happy I took her advice, after the first visit Dr. Rob told me that he would have me light jogging by the end of the week. I didn't think it was possible, but he was right. Extremely knowledgeable in sports related injuries, highly recommended. Thanks Dr. Rob!

A credentialed dietitian provides expertise that generic diet apps and wellness influencers cannot. By addressing your specific health concerns—whether managing blood sugar or healing your gut—you'll see faster, safer, and more sustainable results than any one-size-fits-all program.
Safety and expertise start with credentials. Ensure your provider is a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration. If you have a medical condition like diabetes, kidney disease, or GI issues, an RD is often required for insurance coverage. For specialized needs—eating disorder recovery, sports performance, or pediatric nutrition—look for board-certified specialists.
One of the best ways to reduce costs is the hybrid approach: schedule monthly check-ins with a nutrition counselor to adjust your plan, then use those guidelines between sessions. Many dietitians also offer lower-cost group programs for weight management or condition-specific support. Additionally, use your HSA or FSA funds—nutrition counseling with an RD typically qualifies.
