Jen is credentialed through the International Coaching Federation as a life coach and is also a certified grief coach. She is especially interested in working with clients who want to make positive changes in their lives and develop capacity to deal with transition and life's challenges. Jen focuses on health and well-being, finding purpose and meaning, and working through transitions. As a certified grief coach, Jen is trained to provide space for clients to process their grief and to accompany people as they do the important work of mourning losses.
I love watching people's faces as they come to their own discoveries and insights. I love that coaching sees the client not as someone who needs to be fixed, but as someone who already has the knowledge of what they truly need inside of themselves. Often, we only need someone to truly listen without judgement in order to begin to listen to ourselves.
I also love the opportunity to be a thought-partner with people as they seek to grow and create positive change for themselves and for others.
After receiving over 180 hours of training, as well as mentor coaching, I felt it was time to start my own business and to begin providing services. I do some contract coaching with a couple of non-profits but also wanted to have my own business and own clients.
I care about people and their stories. I love to listen and am able to see my clients as already whole, capable and creative, but needing a confidential and non-judgmental space to think and to hear their own wisdom. I am trained to listen deeply, reflect back what you've said and to ask questions to help you go deeper.
I only work online. Either via Zoom or phone call.
