Hello, Amazing Humans! My name is Sarah Johnson, and I absolutely love the work I do! I utilize interactive hypnotic regression techniques to work with physical, mental, emotional health. Working at a subconscious level with clients yields deep level healing and empowerment. I draw on my own intuitive abilities and psychology/counseling background to help clients find the answers and healing they seek.

After 18 years in private practice as a complimentary healthcare practitioner, I chose to set up a home office so that I could re-tool my practice to better serve those in need on a global scale. My passion is to educate, enlighten and empower those in need of change and direction, by getting rid of what they no longer want and bringing them an awareness of who they really are and the power that they already have.

I have been here 3 different times. Twice for quit smoking and once for self hypnosis. Would have only come once for smoking but I had started to smoke after quitting for 20 months. Hypnosis really works and I would encourage any one to try it. If I need any more sessions rest a sure I will go to Inner Harmony. RON
No two appointments are ever the same, and all information is obtained by a client's subconscious "super computer", timeless higher self, and sometimes spirit guides and loved ones who have passed. Hypnosis work is a division of Mental Health, but the work I primarily do involves being open-minded to the possibilities. Clients come in for specific issues and changes they desire, but the answers may require some openness. Oftentimes I have found relationships, issues and challenges have roots in past life experiences that need to be resolved. Some people come in specifically for Past Life Regressions, others end up in past lives depending on their presenting issue, and some have their challenges present only in the current lifetime. I never know what we'll encounter until we get there. Hypnosis work can be the most enlightening, amazing and empowering experience as long as you are open to finding deep level healing and answers. Also, contrary to outdated beliefs, you will never do or say anything under hypnosis that you wouldn't be comfortable with on a conscious level. There is absolutely nothing to fear. I do not do stage work, and will never ask to you cluck like a chicken. All hypnosis work at Enlightened Earth Hypnosis is always done in the best interest of each and every client. I evolved from the world of counseling and psychology to the world of Hypnosis. After working with children and teens in a Psychiatric In-Patient setting and in schools, I always had a feeling we weren't getting to the root cause of the issues and just putting a band-aid on everything to move them onto the next place. With Hypnosis, I am confident real change and growth are possibilities for almost everyone. Hypnosis can be done along with psychiatric work and other healing modalities, making it very inclusive and holistic. The only requirements for hypnotic success are an open mind, a trust in yourself, and a deep desire for change...that's it. Interactive Hypnosis work is cumulative - the more you do it, the more you begin trusting the information that comes from within, and the easier the information and healing come to you. The ultimate goal for hypnosis is self-sufficiency in your healing and being able to obtain the results on your own, but everyone is different in when they can reach this stage. Some people may only need 5 sessions to reach this state, some 10, 20, or more. It completely depends on the person and their level of emotional healing. Many people don't reach the state of self-sufficiency because they end sessions when things get tough and emotional. It's not easy to confront uncomfortable emotions - our society prefers quick fixes and diversions. So, my best advice is to be prepared ahead of time to confront some heavy emotions. Tears are welcomed in my office...in females AND males. If you don't have an emotional release of some sort, then you're doing yourself a disservice. The other challenge in Hypnosis is insurance - New York State doesn't allow us to take insurance directly, meaning Hypnosis is something to budget for. If you have a FLEX spending card, sometimes those do work. Otherwise, I would highly suggest setting aside funds monthly in an account before you start your hypnosis work. I try to offer as much flexibility as I can with allowing clients to pick the number of hours in a session (1-3 hours each) and number of sessions. I'll be upfront in stating that a 2 hour session is ideal for relaxation and obtaining a good level of information and healing, but we'll do as much as we can within whatever timeframe is requested. I've priced my hourly rate below my colleagues to encourage multiple hour sessions. With all of that being said, I am confident the right clients will find this listing. If you have, please take a look at my website, and Facebook/Instagram pages if you'd like even more information. I usually put different things on each one. If I've opened your thinking a bit, I can recommend some resources to continue expanding your openness. I wish you the best on your journey, and hope our paths cross!
I love acting as "the guide" in Hypnosis rather than "the expert" in Psychology and Counseling. It never sat right with me that I was supposed to have all of the answers for another person's life. That's a heavy load to carry, and probably why mental health workers have such a high rate of depression and anxiety. I am not the expert in your experiences, but I do have the tools to help you navigate them and find healing.
I LOVE working with clients on each adventure we go on through the subconscious mind and higher realms. I have always been fascinated with humans and what makes us who we are. Each of us is an elaborate puzzle made up of life experiences, and we putting together those pieces is fascinating. The light in a client's eyes from gaining insight and the physical healing that happens from releasing emotional wounds is why I do this work.
Hypnosis is an up and coming field that still isn't greatly understood in the Mental Health world. I would love to work in veterans agencies, hospitals, foster care, and other areas in need of this work, but they are not yet opened to Hypnosis with their understanding. Private practice came more out of necessity, but I also enjoy being able to work my schedule around the needs of my family.
Hypnosis can be for almost everyone, except for anyone experiencing delusions or in the midst of addictions (these involve medical treatment first). However, Hypnosis is like Therapy - you have to find a Hypnotist that you feel comfortable with since this is emotional work. That's why I require New Client Consultations before any Hypnosis work starts - to get an idea of our energetic level and connection without clients having any obligation to continue if it's not a good match. You won't hurt my feelings if it doesn't work out, and I'd be happy to refer you to a colleague if that's the case:)
I'm looking for clients that are really ready to do their inner work and open to answers sometimes outside the realm of traditional counseling and therapy. Emotions are connected with everything we struggle with - weight issues, smoking, fears, phobias, habits, addictions, depression, PTSD, anxiety, spiritual restlessness, relationships, miscarriages/fertility, most physical issues, and generally anything at all that that causes you mental, emotional, and physical discomfort or distress.
I can help clients navigate anything emotional that they truly want answers and change for, as long as they're willing to work outside-the-box. Not all sessions will be of a spiritual nature, but I find the work I have done with clients on a higher plane of existence has brought about the most empowerment and change in their current life situations. Clients with an openness to past lives, life between lives, and our timelessness as souls seem to experience the deepest healing experiences. I'd definitely recommend doing some research and reading to open up your energy prior to or in conjunction with appointments. A few of my favorites that actually led me to doing this work are Jim Tucker's "Return to Life", Many Mansions about Edgar Cayce, and James Redfield's "The Celestine Prophecy". Probably the most controversial, but where I started 20 years ago was with reading all of Sylvia Browne's books. I wasn't a huge fan of her television appearances or manner with clients, but she was a gifted writer and actually a trained Hypnotist. Her books were the lightening rod I needed to find my life's purpose.
If you relate to anything I've divulged, then come on in for a New Client Consultation!
