What’s your signature dish?

Food influences and my signature dish include growing up with my mom and grandmom in Ghana. Traveling the world including Europe, around Australia and too many international friendships to count, some as far back as primary school. This exposure to diverse cultures, flavors, foods and cooking styles is a primary colour on my palate.

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?

I usually will meet with my customers in their homes, or at my location to discuss what they are looking for and to listen to their needs. I will then provide couple of menu options to choose from and to work with them to customize a menu together to fit their budget and the occasion.

What do you love most about your job?

I love everything about my job because I am a Ghanaian-American with a truly international perspective, enthusiastic and passionate about the things I love and my goal as a caterer at Pangea is to provide my customers with an experience that includes quality service, versatile planning, and a friendly working relationship to ensure their complete satisfaction.
Every where I have traveled to, food is the only language everyone understands.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I grew up around very strong business women who truly inspired me to be my own boss and to create something from the ground up. I've always wanted to be a businesswoman and food and entertaining happened to be what I love so I decided to follow that path.

I would say that Bark clients should choose me because when looking for a caterer, choose a provider who would listen to your needs and work with you and be calm under any stressful situation and treat you like you are the only client they have.
