Karen is the best coach! If you are looking for someone that really cares about you and your success, she's the coach you're looking for! After taking a long hiatus from singing during and after the pandemic, I was ready to start performing again, but had lost confidence in my voice. Karen and I have worked together for three months. I expect to continue working with her later as time permits. My singing goals were modest; I wanted to try public karaoke without embarrassing myself, and I have now done that successfully. Starting as a novice, I finished the three months with much confidence, an appreciation for how much work lies ahead, and certain that with Karen's future help I will continue to progress. Karen is more than a singing teacher; she is holistic in the broadest sense, advising me on many aspects of life from reinforcing my immune system, breathing, posture, music theory and more. She is responsive to my requests, always encouraging and supportive. Her stories (often case studies from her student/teacher experiences) are poignant and on point.
