I recently visited this brunch spot, and I must say the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The biscuits and gravy were fabulous but the highlight for me was undoubtedly the crab cakes – they were incredibly delicious! I highly recommend this place for a delightful brunch experience. L. Marie's is a home cooked southern food restaurant located right next to the shell gas station and across from kroger on jiles rd. Don't let the location make you feel weird it is a wonderful place. Inside is clean and has nice decorations. I wish I had enough time to sit and eat there to enjoy the atmosphere but I ordered to go instead. I got the green bans and Mac and cheese and meatloaf. It also came with a corn bread. The food is all warm and the meatloaf is one of the best I've ever tasted. Every portion tastes straight off the stove made with love and feels like right at home. The cornbread was complimentary and kind of sweet but it is good. The lady I wish I knew her name but she was so nice and courteous. She had the southern hospitality to go along with great food that I believe she cooked. I cannot wait to go back again and try their chicken, tilapia, desserts, and other sides!! Hey have daily specials and family dinners as well. Another interesting thing i thought was they serve oxtail here

We eat here at least once a week! The food is always good and really hits that's southern comfort level of yummy. The spinach artichoke dip we get every time, always! The fried cauliflower is amazing when they have it. The pimento burger is a usual order for us as well as the thyme friend chicken. A while ago they failed their inspection and we were very hesitant to eat here again however it has not disappointed us and I believe they corrected the mistakes. My only complaint about this restaurant is that they have daily specials and they don't always have something that you really want such as the fried cauliflower or the seafood dip and it may be on special on Tuesday but gone by Friday. They usually post the specials on Facebook but they're not consistent with it so you constantly have to call and ask what the specials are and that is annoying..especially when their a page long! We will continue to eat here weekly because there's something for everyone and it's always delicious!
