‘20 Certificate of Excellence

Low cost mental health services that are affordable if you do not want to pay the huge deductible. Therapist works with all populations but specializes in child therapy. Therapist is working toward being certified play therapist and incorporates many tools such as games, art and sand. Many of these same elements can be crossed over to other populations as well but truly works well with children. The whole tenet behind play therapy is , through play therapy, serotonin and dopamine levels (the feel good neurotransmitters) rise and when they are are at a peak, the therapist will then begin exploring with the client, the issue that has brought the client to therapy. While exploring the issue with serotonin and dopamine levels being high, then the client can begin to discuss the issue with higher levels of feel good hormones which in turn lowers the negative feelings toward the issue itself.

What do you love most about your job?

My favored part of the job is the children. Children are always a joy to be around and makes life a more sunny place to be. I love having the ability to easily connect with each of my clients from their perspective and their expectations as well. Each issue that is brought into therapy does not have a one size fits all objective. Each individual and each of their individual issues requires a deep understanding of the issue and how the client would like to approach it is half the job, the remaining parts consist of finding a way the will help the client achieve the goal they have set, and assisting in any way to help them achieve it.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Honestly, I am really tired of political agendas that can often lead to many complications, and things do not always have to be complicated. I also want to offer mental health services that are not only affordable when paying out of pocket, but also, one that is trusted and respected. Many times I have heard complaints about company policies that clients do not like, I try very hard to remove these complaints from my private practice.

Why should our clients choose you?

I am not a corporate entity, I am a private practice which makes policy and procedures easier to adapt. My practice is open to all who seek services, regardless of race, creed, color or ethnicity or sexual orientation. ALL people who walk through my door will be treated with dignity and respect. I am handicap accessible with front entrance and elevator to those who need the extra assistance. When people walk through my door, they are free to be who they are with no fear of judgement.
