Hello there, For the past 10 years I have helped people who struggle with various life issues and challenges, to get them into the best place they can possibly be, and that will always be my main goal when I commit to working with someone. For the past 5 years I have specialized in coaching and teaching women and men with relationship issues how to overcome those. I recently developed a program that helps people who struggle with co-dependency issues avoid getting into narcissistic relationships ever again or it can help them get out of such relationships. I believe in taking a "Root-Cause-Approach" to the presenting issues and not just addressing some symptoms of it to make you feel better temporarily. My goal is to achieve lasting results for you. I have worked with many hundreds people in individual and group settings successfully and got them the best possible outcome. I help clients achieve their life, professional and/or relationship goal(s) in as few sessions as possible, since I don't believe in creating professional co-dependency with my clients. I specialize in NLP Coaching and use methods that work quickly and effectively and are simple to apply by yourself once you have learned and understood them. Areas I specialize in (but not limited to) are: - Co-Dependency in Narcissistic and Abusive relationships - Marriage/Relationship issues - Life Goal Achievement and Motivation - Transformational Coaching (Life, Relationship, Career, etc.) Finally I want you to know that you are not alone, I am here to help, we can do this... together! I'm looking forward to speaking with you. Marc J Wagner Here is a little quote I firmly believe in: "Sometimes we need to hold the light for others and sometimes others have to hold it for us. We all need help at times and that is not a shame, it's called human." by MJW

What do you love most about your job?

This is a very rewarding field I am in and to me there is no greater joy than watching people get from a place of struggle and even despair to happiness in all areas of their life. And I get to live my personal passion which is helping people succeed in life.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I got into this line of business because I had my struggles on a physical, emotional and spiritual level. After I finally found a therapist who used all those modalities I am using today it was clear to me that I wanted to learn those and help others achieve what I was able to achieve. So here I am giving back by helping others achieve their dreams on every level of living.

Why should our clients choose you?

My approach is rather unique, not only because of my compassionate, understanding and caring nature but also I help people by finding the root causes of their issues and not just mask some symptoms. It is very unfortunate many in this field like to create a codependency with their client because they want to keep them in therapy for as long as they can since that is how they make their money. I despise that approach because it doesn't put the clients need first, it puts their own wallet first.
In my approach the client's well-being and goal achievement in as few sessions as possible will always take center stage.
By now you can probably see why I am a fair and safe choice.
Looking forward to talking to you soon.

Therapist FAQs

This will vary according to the level of experience and training that the therapist holds.

This will depend on where you live, what level of training your therapist has and what they specialise in (whether they are a counsellor, psychotherapist or psychologist) and also how many years of working experience they have.

Your professional therapist will be able to advise you on the full range of therapies available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted therapist today.

You need to devote some time to finding the right therapist as the connection you have with your therapist is essential. You need someone who you can trust, someone you feel comfortable talking to about difficult subjects and intimate secrets, someone who will be a partner in your recovery. Therapy will not be effective unless you have this bond, so take some time in the beginning to find the right person.

It is worth talking to a few potential therapists and asking questions. Therapists also have special areas of focus, such as depression or eating disorders. For some issues, such as trauma or PTSD, seeing a specialist is absolutely essential.

Everyone’s treatment is different. How long your therapy lasts depends on many factors.

You may be offered a single session of counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.

It can take a number of sessions before you start to see progress but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your trusted Bark therapist.

Professional counsellor training takes three to five years and can be a diploma or degree level. Qualification requires a minimum number of client hours acquired through a work placement.

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their therapy.

Therapy has repeatedly and consistently helped patients with a whole host of issues. It can help with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder. Or it can help with an upsetting physical health condition such as infertility, a difficult life event such as a bereavement or a relationship breakdown. It can also be used to tackle difficult emotions such as low self-esteem, anger or sexual identity issues. Therapists also offer couples therapy. Therapists can also help with anxiety issues deriving from the coronavirus.

Absolutely! Many therapists offer sessions over the phone or through an online video chat platform, so you can have a session from the comfort of your own home - all you need is a strong internet connection and you're good to go.
