What do you love most about your job?

What I enjoy most is seeing dramatic change happen in peoples lives over such a short amount of time.

Once the subconscious mind is correctly instructed on how to behave people lose their urges and cravings. I've seen people with life long phobias walk away and never have that fear again.

How can someone NOT love to see that?

What inspired you to start your own business?

I've been interested in hypnosis since I was 10 years old. I was fascinated about quickly could make fast and dramatic changes.

In 1998 I committed to become a fulltime hypnotist who would help people make the changes they want. It's been an amazing journey. Since them I've worked 10,000 hours of clinical hypnosis.

Why should our clients choose you?

When you come to me you are not coming for hypnosis, you're coming for a result. You want to be free of cigarette cravings. You want to lose weight. You want to be free of anxiety and post-traumatic stress.

That is why, as my client you will never pay for hypnosis. You will pay only for a result. If you come in with a cigarette craving and want to quit smoking, you will get a result. At the end of the session, if you have followed my instructions and I've done my job, you will not be able to crave a cigarette even if you try.

That is the result you are paying for.

This will vary according to the level of experience and training that the hypnotherapist holds.

Your professional hypnotherapist will be able to advise you on the full range of therapies available and will be able to help you select the best one to suit your needs. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have. Use Bark to get free quotes and find a trusted hypnotherapist today.

Firstly, you'll have a conversation with your therapist to discuss what you hope to achieve and agree on what methods your therapist will use. Afterwards, the hypnotherapist may lead you into a deeply relaxed state using agreed methods to help you towards your goals. For example, suggesting that you don't want to carry out a certain habit gradually bring you out of the trance.

You are fully in control when under hypnosis and don't have to take on the therapist's suggestions if you don't want to. If necessary, you can bring yourself out of the hypnotic state. Most people expect to be put to sleep or to forget what happened afterwards but the opposite is true. You're fully aware the whole time of what is happening.

This is dependent on both your hypnotherapist and your circumstances. One-off services such as smoking cessation or gastric band hypnotherapy can last around two hours, while a general hypnotherapy session will usually take about an hour.

The duration of therapy will really be dependent on your circumstances and issues. Some people may require a longer-term approach with regular weekly sessions. Your hypnotherapist will let you know how many sessions they feel you might need when you start therapy and will be flexible when it comes to decreasing or extending the number of sessions according to your progress and needs.

There are currently no guidelines in place stipulating the training and qualifications a hypnotherapist must have in order to practice. Industry guidelines recommend that individuals should have completed at least an appropriate diploma or have completed a course that involved a minimum of 450 learning hours, of which 120 hours must have been face-to-face.

You may also want to ask for testimonials of their recent work. You could also look at their profile page on Bark and Bark can show you reviews from past customers who have used their hypnotherapy services.

Hypnotherapy has repeatedly and consistently helped patients with a whole host of issues. It can help with anxiety, depression, anxiety, PTSD, obesity, addictions, fear of flying, public speaking, stopping smoking, insomnia, weight loss amongst others. When combined with methods such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), valuable healing work can begin as quickly as one or two sessions.

You might be surprised to hear that hypnotherapy can be delivered remotely over the phone, through an online video chat platform, or with pre-recorded sessions sent by email.
