I had an amazing cake made for my hubby's 50 th birthday. It was amazing elegant cake. It was the talk of the night. It was delicious moist not overly sweet. The owner was very personable and professional. The price was very affordable for a custom cake. I will be doing more business with him in the future
You would think that a place coming to your job at $10-$12 dollars a plate is ridiculous, when you can sit in a restaurant for the same price. I saw the menu and was intrigued: I hadn't had meatloaf in a long time. Memories of my grandmas house and Wednesday night dinners danced in my head. I took the elevator down and could smell the SOUL wafting up the elevator shaft all the way on the 14th floor. Gorgeous Tasha (the owner) and her lovely daughter were there to greet me with the most welcoming smiles. They told me about all the dishes and we chatted a bit, very nice folks! I had the meatloaf, mac n cheese and green beans. Normally meatloaf is like some sort of mystery meat held together with eggs and breadcrumbs NOT THIS! It was ALL JUICY MEAT pretty sure it was beef, not pork or anything else. As soon as I reached my desk it was all a blur of food and mouthgasms and then it was GONE The mac n cheese was that home made, baked macaroni with cheese melted on-top and in between. It's not like a cheese sauce, I like both kinds so it was GREAT for me, but I know other people favor the Kraft/Boston market versions which I also love. I know what you're thinking "vegetables !?" But these green beans were cooked to perfection (tender but snappy), and flavored with the perfect amount of garlic, it was not overpowering. Idk where the name comes from but they definitely DROP THE POT on this one ! Definitely would eat again and recommend for catering!
What a fun afternoon we had yesterday eating and drinking at Bierstrasse. Super friendly staff and bartenders. Food was very good - between us we had burgers, fish tacos, fish and chips and the chicken spaetzle. Never a wait for a cocktail. We all left very happy. The entertainment was really good too!
Asking Tom and Billy to cater our wedding was one of the first planning decisions my husband and I made - and definitely one of the best. We knew already from their cafe that their food was drool-worthy... creative, always fresh and made with a ton of care, love and thought. Tom and Billy held our hands and led the way as we undertook the whole, long process of planning a wedding and building a space - and menu - up from scratch. They were incredibly kind and patient throughout, caring just as much, if not more, about all the small details that we didn't even know to consider. They and their staff could not have been more professional and lovely at our wedding (multiple people commented on the service), and all of the food - especially their take on fried chicken and waffles for bite-sized appetizers - was a major hit. LOVE these two and their work!

We went to their Tuesday night Prime Rib buffet. What a meal! We started off with a great antipasto; all kinds of Italian cold cuts, asparagus wrapped in prosciutto, a number of cheeses like provolone, swiss, camembert, and several others. Four different types of salad; a tossed mixed salad, caesar salad, salad with apples, raisins and nuts, and another one, but, I forgot what was in it. There were also several cold salads like coleslaw, bruschetta, fresh sliced mushrooms, tomatoes, and an assortment of the most delicious breads. Now, for the hot food; oven roasted potatoes, rice pilaf, eggplant rollantini, gnocchi with a Bolognese meat sauce, mixed vegetables that included broccoli, zucchini, squash and carrots, a tri-colored pasta primavera in a cream sauce , shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and, of course, hand carved prime rib. Then they had a dessert table with fresh cut-up fruit, brownies, mini cheesecakes, carrot cake, apple strudel, a white cake, a caramel cake, a chocolate filled cake and I m sure that I must have left something out. All this for $15.95.
The food was really delicious. What really impressed us was that everything was quality and not just quantity. A couple in our party wanted their prime rib more well done than it was at the carving table. The carver said, No problem?, and carved some, brought it to the kitchen where they cooked it medium well and delivered it to our table. Within minutes the prime rib appeared cooked as requested. Their staff very was attentive and responsive.
The restaurant is very pleasant. The main dining room is large with a small private room, there is an extension that has greenhouse windows and then off of that there is an outdoor patio. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and have put this on our list to return.
We've been using Ridge for a couple of years now, and it's fantastic. They assign you a salesperson, who you call if you have any specific questions or problems. Ours is a sweetheart, and we love them all dearly.

Go for the food and drinks ! Appetizers, entrees and drinks were all delicious. My mom is a picky eater especially since she’s a seasoned Caribbean cook and literally nothing disappointed her ! She even fell in love with the sorrel cocktail and she’s not a drinker by any means. We visited on a Sunday evening for dinner and the food did take a bit longer than I’m accustomed to waiting but it was worth it! Everything was freshly prepared plus the presentation was everything!
Finally made it to Lolo's- love the island ambience. Coconut shrimp and garlic fries were so tasty and soft shell crab sandwich is scrumptious . Looks very small from outside but has sitting space in back . Lolo's rum punch is a must. Will definitely be back for more!
