We provide three different groups that perform a variety of music genres, such as American variety pop, Latin, and Jazz. All of our musicians are jazz scholars who are well versed in many styles, therefore, we are ready to customize the music to your desires.
The Uptown Drifters are a country swing band from North Texas. In addition to their original songs, you'll hear influences from Bob Wills, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, George Strait, Django Reinhardt and even some Sinatra. The music is done with a Texas flavor. A little country, rockabilly, jazz and blues are all thrown into the mix to create a dance groove that all ages will enjoy.
I am a classically trained trumpeter with three music degrees from major universities: North Dakota State University (B.M.), University of Texas at Austin (M.M.), and the University of Georgia (D.M.A.). I also have much experience playing jazz and pop music. I have held positions in regional orchestras and soloed with numerous bands and orchestras. From Taps at a service, to hymns at a church, to easy listening jazz, to Trumpet Voluntary at weddings, I am happy to play at any event.

We tried a sampler of sliced brisket, jalapeño sausage, sausage and bologna bites. All of them were great. brisket tender and juicy. Sausages were amazing also. Bologna had perfect smoke flavor and not dried out. We will definitely be back. There is plenty of space to meet with friends for dinner and have drinks. They also have live music.

I cannot say enough about this band… Their music was incredible, they could play absolutely anything! We had them for a wedding venue here in Longville Louisiana two weeks ago… They are so personable, friendly, funny, professional!! Their style of music was so versatile… If I ever have another event I definitely want them to come back!!
