I manage the United Airlines 777 BBQ Tent that had over 5200 people come through the doors in 3 days at the HLS&R (Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo) Cookoff. I lost my previously booked band on short notice, and Louis Adams Symphony with SurReaL Music Group was suggested by a friend. Not knowing what I was getting into, Louis Adams Symphony came to my rescue. I reviewed some of their playlists on the internet with my team and asked them to play for us.
With such short notice, I was concerned about their mix of songs, sound, and how they would mix with the crowd. After Wednesday night's sound check, I was very pleased and didn't worry any longer.
I asked them to play 50% country music with the rest being whatever they wanted. Louis told me that we wouldn't hear the same songs each set and he was right. Their mix of songs was fantastic and the sound was right on for the size of the tent.
I really appreciated how they fit in with the team, which would be the ones that would make the decision to have them come back.
While they were playing, I had numerous people (even from outside the tent), say the band was great. They were very professional and we have asked them to commit to next year. We have found a band that we will want to have back for years to come. If you have anyone that would like more information on their performance, you can have them call me.

Louis Adams Symphony does a great job creating a setlist that works with the needs of any event. They play a wide variety of musical styles from nearly every genre one would hope for. They can cater to the energy and atmosphere applicable for any possible environment.
They can even take requests on the spot and their stage presence and overall demeanor is incomparable.
We are routinely impressed with Louis and his band every time they perform. Our events would not be successful without their professional, yet lively spirit. We have gone as far as changing our event schedule to accommodate their availability because we know what a difference they make. I have worked with Louis for roughly six years, and he has never disappointed. Louis is quick to respond, works within our budget, and always takes our events to the next level.
