Paper Meets Pearl is a boutique wedding and event planning company located in the heart of Charleston, SC.
Founded in 2018, Paper Meets Pearl was started to help assist couples navigate the often stressful waters of planning a wedding. After planning my own wedding, I noticed a distinct lack in significant resources that can help any couple plan and throw their ideal wedding.
We hired On Purposes Adventures for my 2 Boys birthday parties (yes 2 Birthdays celebrated on 1-day) at James Island County Park and they crushed it. They were on time, met us where we set up shop for the day and made sure that everyone was having a great time. It was a hot day and they made sure to check on the kids (while dong activities) to make sure everyone was hydrated, doing well and of course having fun.
We choose to do the Bubble Soccer and the Large Boxing Gloves (these make for great funny pixs by the way). Our party was full of boys and girls, all kinds of ages no one was left out and all of the kids had a blast. I would highly recommend OPA for any kid, adult, team building or corporate event.
They offer a unique experience and you feel that the value you get is well worth the price. We will be spreading the word and using them again. Thank you On Purpose Adventures for a great day!
We were planning our Charleston wedding from Atlanta, so we did a lot of research and conducted a lot of interviews to pick the right wedding planner for us, but immediately after we hung up the phone with Jacqueline, we knew right away that we wanted to work with her! Jacqueline went above and beyond to help turn our vision of our dream wedding into a reality! She was so quick to respond to any questions, concerns, and suggestions we had throughout the process and always there to help with guidance for any final decisions on anything and everything! The day of timeline was organized perfectly and everything ran so smoothly all thanks to Jacqueline! I remember walking through the reception area before the events started on the wedding day and was blown away because it was everything I envisioned and more! She also had great recommendations on local vendors that helped us put together the absolute BEST team for our wedding day! It couldn’t have been more perfect! Best decision picking Jacqueline and Sweetgrass Social to help plan our wedding!
Had a death in the family last Valentine's day. I showed up at the shop early the morning of Feb 14th. Of course, they were very busy. I explained my situation, the fact I was 120 miles from home and needed flowers to bring my wife, SIL's and MIL some moment of joy. The women in the shop were very helpful, empathetic, spared me some roses and helped me pick out everything. They stopped what they were doing, prepared the arrangements and took care of what I needed. They really made my bad day much better. I was able to walk in with flowers for everyone and it was perhaps the brightest moment of the day. We have used them since with no issues. My mother is calling today to send something to my MIL tomorrow. Until given a reason to change- this will be my go-to florist for downtown Charleston.
