My name is Jessica Teagardin-Estrada (Tea-grada) and I am the Owner of Teagrada Events. A little bit about me. I am a born and raised SoCal girl who recently moved to Atlanta. I went to college for music and still continue to do that but over years of trying to find my career passion, I finally found Wedding Planning and it has been almost a decade since I made that discovery. I also have a wonderful husband and two babies who I adore so much. I am a people person at my core. That's what drives me in everything that I do. With Teagrada, I want all of my couples to feel loved and supported through the process while also knowing that my team and I are getting it done! We've got you, we promise. I had my own wedding in 2014. When I got engaged I decided that I wanted to plan my wedding from head to toe but as the stress and details got bigger and more complicated, I wished I had someone who was there to take my ideas and put them into action for me so I could breathe. Now, don't get me wrong, I loved my wedding and I had a stellar MOH and an amazing mom who helped take on the role of coordination team to lift the burden, but I finally understood why people hire wedding planners. What I took away from my wedding planning process was that I loved to design, I loved making timelines, and I loved creating a memorable event. What I didn't love was the struggle between enjoying my day and trying to make sure everything was on time and running smoothly, decor was set out properly, all of the vendors were handled, etc. Now I'm on the other end of it and I not only love coordinating/planning, but I love knowing that I can give my couples peace of mind and the ability to breathe easy on their big day.

What do you love most about your job?

What I love most about my job is working with couples to create a truly memorable event. I love walking through the process with them to help them create an event that truly embodies who they are as a couple. It's amazing to be trusted with such an important day and to see all of the planning process finally come to fruition. My favorite part is knowing that because I love the planning process and am very involved, that couples who work with me will worry about NOTHING on their wedding day. That's huge for me.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I worked for a few years shadowing various venues and other planners but at the end of the day, I knew I wanted to be able to service my clients in my own creative way. It makes a big difference when you aren't just there to assist on the day of, but you instead are able to walk with a couple through the entire process so that you can ensure that they are comfortable and stress free on the big day.

Why should our clients choose you?

Clients should choose me because I have over 9 years of experience in the industry working for other planners and for myself. I am extremely attentive to detail while also being very creative. I have an eye for design but also love the backend and admin side of wedding planning. I have been described as a planner who can have fun but also get things done. I am very punctual and on top of the timeline/making sure my couple is taken care of, while also maintaining a peaceful, fun, and energetic environment for all of the guests as well.

I can provide wedding consulting online or remotely. I also travel for weddings, so if a client hires me from out of state, most of the planning process will be virtual until the actual wedding weekend.
