After deciding to turn our engagement party into our wedding, we had 2 months to plan everything. While we thought we could handle everything ourselves, we thought hiring a day of coordinator would be a good idea. It was not a good idea, it was a GREAT idea! Elizabeth and her team were everything they advertised and more. Elizabeth has a friendly, upbeat personality and made us feel very comfortable. Elizabeth was the backbone of my wedding! From the moment we met, I knew she would be the perfect coordinator for us. I felt 100% covered by her. She took in every request we had and ran with it. I had absolutely no stress on my wedding day from her being there and her assistant that helped. They both were absolute rockstars. They even helped with details like packing up our stuff at the end of the night (wrapped and packed with protective paper for the breakables). They filled in every little thing we needed done. My family can’t stop talking about how great of a help they were to us leading up to the ceremony, during and after. Best decision we made! 10/10 - highlight recommend! More...

Elizabeth is truly a pleasure to work with. She is extremely organized, sweet, and very knowledgeable.
She made great recommendations to us during the planning process that made making decisions on things like vendors a lot easier. I was really impressed with Elizabeth's network in the wedding community and was surprised at how many of my vendors she had worked with in the past. After our first meeting we knew we were in good hands. We were so surprised to see that the night of our first meeting, Elizabeth had already put together a detailed timeline and floor plan and emailed it to us. I DIY'd a few things and Elizabeth had things like easels and frames that she let us borrow which was extremely helpful. On the day of the wedding we were so glad to have her there to put on the show. Her presence was calming and we were able to fully enjoy the day knowing that she was there to take care of everything. We would certainly recommend Elizabeth as a planner to anyone looking!

Elizabeth was easy to communicate with, always responsive, and accommodating of last minute changes to our schedule (like when you can't get off a meeting for an extra 30 minutes!) She is exceptionally organized and remembered every random little detail, no matter when or through what means the direction was given. If you are looking for a wedding planner or wedding day of coordinator LOOK NO FURTHER!!! EKS Weddings and Events did a phenomenal job of creating a stress-free and enjoyable wedding day for me and my husband.
In our initial consultation meeting with Elizabeth, I left feeling relieved knowing our wedding day was in her hands. Elizabeth came prepared with binders that she gave us to organize and keep track of all of the little details of our wedding, including a timeline we needed to follow and a suggested budget for all expenses. Elizabeth has years of experience in the wedding and events industry and it is very evident of her expertise in this field. As the bride, you have so much going on the day of the wedding between getting ready and trying to spend quality time with your bridal party and family and then pictures, etc. It's important to focus on those special moments and not worry about the order of the event. So, take the stress off and enjoy one of the most important days in your and your spouse's life by hiring EKS Weddings and Events to administer your wedding day, you won't regret it!
