Over the past 12 years, I have been in love with designs and started decorating for friends birthday parties, weddings and other events. I was told that everything I touch seems to turn to magic and it was an instant obsession. I fell in love with the design aspect of everything, but as specially flowers. Bella Blue Floral Design specializes in floral for functions and special events.

I got married in October of 2018, and I still have my bouquet. Flowers preserved beautifully, the service was awesome. They really got me the best bang for my buck, worked hard to stay in and even under my budget. Always responded to my emails within a timely manner, and the final result was just breathtaking. Would for sure use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for arrangements!

I started this company in 2004 after getting requests from friends to help with their weddings, parties, etc…. I purposely kept the company pretty private & small. Since I was a little girl gathering flowers in Louisiana with my grandmother, I seemed to have a knack with flowers. My love of them makes it easy to be happy & pour lots of love into each & every arrangement I make.
Today, our daughter received a wonderful flowers arrangement with marvelous roses for her 20th birthday! 🌸 Kelly also surprised her with a handwritten card (all in German!) and dark chocolate with the delivery. Too kind!
Our daughter is studying aviation/commercial pilot in Hillsboro Air Academy far away from our home in Switzerland 🇨🇭, so it was very helpful having such a nice person like Kelly to deliver a flowers gift to our young lady for we can’t be with her on her birthday.
Kelly was very reliable and fulfilled all our wishes! I recommend her warmly!

Nancy's saved the day! When my friend picked up her wedding flowers from a place close to her work not only were they spray painted and the wrong color but they were also dying already. One quick phone call to Nancy's and they were on it. In the last 2 hours before they closed today they made new flowers for the wedding. They are exquisite! The bride cried when she saw them. Thank you so much for saving the day!
I mostly buy Fieldwork plants at the Woodsman Market. The selection is always unique and diverse. I have bought strange looking ferns, flowers, and herbs. The owner, Megan, knows her plants and has given me tips on indoor and outdoor plant care. The shop, down the street from the Woodsman, is sparse and elegant and beautiful. Highly recommended!
I have gotten flowers from here multiple times. They are always beautiful and of the highest quality. This is made better by the friendly and professional staff. They have helped me out from Valentines day to board room events. If you need flowers or gift baskets this is the place to go, regardless of the occasion.
We received several floral arrangements recently (as we experienced a family member passing) the arrangements we received from Tommy Luke's were gorgeous and outlasted several of the other arrangements as the freshness and quality of the flowers were amazing. They made a spray arrangement that was an absolutely BEAUTIFUL creation of assorted flowers and the fragrence of this particular arrangement was divine!

Amy got her start in the floral industry right out of college. Floral design was always something that had interested her, so she decided to give it a shot. During that time, Amy discovered a talent for working with flowers and an eye for design. She spent time working for Jones the Florist and the Hyde Park Floral and Garden Center (both in Cincinnati, Ohio) before moving to Oregon to pursue her graduate studies.
After doing the flower arrangements for her own wedding, Amy re-discovered everything that she loved about "playing" with flowers. She had always appreciated the creative aspects of the floral industry and the joy of creating something beautiful for others to enjoy, but found the significant retail mark-up disconcerting (especially when the word "wedding" is thrown into the conversation). When Amy realized that she could use her skills and knowledge to help other couples avoid paying more than they had to for their wedding flowers, Mayfly Flowers was born!
As a former budget bride, Amy has a special fondness for the DIY couple on a budget. That's why she does not mark up the price of flowers. Your total cost is determined by the current wholesale price for the amount of flowers selected for your arrangements and Amy's labor fee for the number and type of arrangements you need. Amy has discovered over the years that she is able to save her clients more money by NOT having traditional 'fixed-price' packages, and instead customizing the flower order for each client in order to take advantage of bulk pricing and seasonal discounts.
As a very general guideline, weddings where Amy is just providing "people flowers" (bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres) price out in the $500 range (and very often they cost significantly less than that!). Adding in centerpieces, ceremony decor, and other arrangements will see a corresponding increase in total cost. Spending a little bit of time together in the beginning of the process to talk through the floral vision for your wedding can pay off with savings in the long run!
