I hired Amy from Mayfly Flowers for my wedding and she was absolutely amazing. She did all of our bouquets and boutonnieres and the centerpieces for our reception. There was a long staircase I walked down during the ceremony and she decorated it beautifully. Amy also made a gorgeous backdrop for us during the ceremony. Amy's prices were way less than every other florist I met with. Amy was an absolute pleasure to work with for our March 2019 wedding. From the initial inquiry, she was very responsive and professional. We met with her for coffee to discuss what we hoped for on a limited budget. I showed her some Pinterest ideas and she was so knowledgeable to explain to us what was in season and ideas for swaps that we could make in order to save money. Then she came back to us with a quote that was exactly within our budget. Working with her was so easy! She was so sweet and personable, checking in during the planning process and offering to send previews the week before the wedding – which we really enjoyed, we loved seeing how things were coming together leading up to the wedding, and all of her arrangements were so beautiful. Our vision was for a simple and romantic look, and she truly went above and beyond our expectations for our budget, and the floral was one of our favorite aspects of the wedding. I'm not a flower knowledgeable person. I had a photo idea and Amy brought it to life! She answered all my questions at our meeting and continued to be responsive through the day of. I am so thankful that I found Amy and Mayfly flowers! We were definitely on a budget for flowers but I have no experience with DIY and did not trust myself. .. Amy specializes with brides on a budget! She is so talented and truly understood my vision exactly. My flowers were romantic, lush, and smelled amazing!! She is so easy to get ahold of and was flexible with changes and special requests. We had a large wedding but were able to get beautiful accents for the reception, plenty of boutonnières, a flower crown for the flower girl, and more for such a good price. Amy is so kind and truly cares about each couple she works with... I will refer her to any and all of my friends getting married in the future! But I have to warn you that she books up fast! I found Amy about a year prior to my wedding and immediately knew she was going to be a perfect fit for me and my floral vision. She asked all the right questions and ones I didn’t even think about... like “What kind of flowers don’t you like” which was important to me because I really wanted a certain look. Amy has a great eye for design and does amazing work! Planning the flower arrangements was stressing me out more than any other aspect of wedding. I received quotes from a few other florists and actually thought I was not going to be able to afford centerpieces at all! Amy worked on my friends' wedding a few years ago and they recommended her. This vendor was an absolute gem and I'm so happy she was suggested to me as my wedding florist. Amy's work with flowers is absolutely beautiful and she has always been so flexible and creative with my input. I have to admit, I am one of those brides who know very little about flowers. I went into our initial meeting knowing what colors I needed, numbers of arrangements needed, and very little else (I'm not really familiar with different varieties of flowers so I wasn't sure what to ask for). Nonetheless, Amy asked some specific questions about the wedding and my preferences, and came up with flower arrangements that were more beautiful than anything I could have dreamed up on my own.

Oh, and the work is super-affordable. THAT is what truly impressed me; that her work is just as good (and often better) than any of the pricier wedding florists but without the huge markup. I am floored by her quality and value. Either quality would be impressive on its own, but to find both in one person? Amazing.

Why can't there be more life-events that involve a ridiculous amount of beautiful flowers? If there were, I would call Mayfly Flowers again with no hesitation. More...
