When I first spoke with Kim over the phone, I knew I had to use her for my wedding. Kim and team were phenomenal throughout the entire wedding process. They were recommended by our best friends who used germanium lake for their wedding a few years back. When we met with Kim she was very enthusiastic and made us feel comfortable that our vision would come to life. They also do the design for centerpieces which is a nice touch compared to getting rentals and having to come up with a display on your own. She even allowed me to call her the week of to clarify certain color combinations. Then when she arrived the morning of the wedding to deliver the florals, she said she'd had nightmares about not having enough of a color I had stressed and went to the local market early that morning to fix that. And they were TO DIE FOR.  So incredibly gorgeous, exactly what I had imagined, which is really something since I'm not the type to rave over flowers.I am so so thankful she had that concern to get more flowers. Kim did the flowers for my daughter's wedding in Cannon Beach and she was our day of coordinator.  The bouquets were simply stunning and the arrangements, especially the ceremony arbor, were absolutely incredible. We used Geranium Lake as our wedding florist and they were hands down the best vendor decision we made for the entire wedding -- so much so that I felt the need to open a Yelp account so that I could properly write a review for them. Kim and her team delivered the most amazing floral arrangements and truly made my vision come to life. Living in New York, much of the work we did together had to be done over the phone and by email, and yet Kim listened to every detail and went above and beyond to make sure the end result was even more spectacular than what I had envisioned. We couldn’t have been more happy. Everything was absolutely perfect. Kim was able to effortlessly translate a few adjectives and photos into exactly what my daughter wanted. For an August wedding, the peonies are out of season. However, this is a favorite flower of my daughter’s. She mentioned that peonies were her favorite, and they made the effort to find them in just the right shade of pale pink she envisioned for her bouquet. Each piece was a work of art from the bouquet, to the chuppah, her hairpiece, and the groom’s boutonnieres. Everyone is easy to work with and the communication was outstanding. Kim was able to take everything we had envisioned on our Pinterest and turn that dream into a reality. It was so stress free, which was a breath of fresh air with everything we had on our plate. When we asked her to incorporate tweedia and stephanotis, she was more than accommodating. She didn’t even mind when we wanted to make a few last minute additions.

On the big day, her staff showed very early during our wedding day to make sure everything was prepared and arranged perfectly. Everything from the floral pattern on the aisle to the wedding bouquet were remarkable. At the end they provided a cleanup service which was one less thing to worry about.

For my small October wedding, I ordered a bouquet and two corsages to be delivered to SW Portland. One bouquet and one corsage arrived. So I am from Austin Texas and we planned our destination wedding in Portland. We had a huge wedding planned in Austin but after the unexpected passing of my sister in law in February made the last minute change to Portland. We were recommended to geranium when we booked our venue at Hotel Monaco, and let me tell you they did not disappoint. I was so worried about not being able to be there in person to talk about flowers, but the multiple phone calls and emails were super easy and they captured my vision PERFECTLY!

After a long discussion on the phone and photos from Pinterest they took what I had in mind and made it a millions times better! When we went to look at the flowers the day before the wedding my girlfriend even said my flowers were definitely going to be on Pinterest! I was blown away by my bouquet and the flower crown they made for my niece who was the flower girl. They made a beautiful garland to go around the redwood deck. They also made a stunning arrangement that went on our cake table.

They answered any concerns I had and delivered the flowers to our hotel and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Geranium Lake Florist was the perfect choice for our wedding day! They are very professional and produce beautiful products - just visit their shop and you will instantly see the creative and stunning work they do. I loved that I was able to be more involved in some of the decisions that meant more to me than others when it came to decorations. The week of my wedding, they even let me come into the shop and look at all of the flowers that had arrived for our wedding. I got to help hand-pick the arrangement for my own bridal bouquet, and that was such a fun treat. Everyone I worked with was also incredibly flexible with my ideas, which was very helpful since we were planning the wedding from a distance. Being able to make some last minute moves/alterations with the items we ordered was clutch since we hadn't been to the venue in the months leading up to the wedding. Gardenias are hard to find.  A competitor (THANK YOU LUBLINER !) introduced me to Geranium Lake when I could not find a gardenia corsage.  Hannah and Kim were incredible! They had no gardenias available on short notice and I HAD TO have the corsage in less than 48 hours...Undaunted, Kim  personally visited a local grower, selected and harvested two (2) blooms, brought them to the shop, crafted a Gorgeous Corsage with a Sterling (purple) Rose, and had it for me to pick up in a 24 hour time frame.  My jaw dropped at the price: $5 LESS THAN any other retailer I spoke to, and was turned down by, before I found GERANIUM LAKE!Wowee Howee I am impressed!  PS.  I disagree with the reviewer who indicated they were "Pricey"...I think I got MORE THAN I PAID FOR in service, quality and attitude!
