My wedding planner (Make It Happen!) suggested Violetta Flowers for my March wedding at the Westin St Francis. I will be upfront is stating that I am not a creative person at all, nor do I know anything about flowers. After my initial meeting with Arlene, I felt like she "got me". Her ideas after only a 20 min phone call blew me away and I immediately signed the contract. After calls and exchanging emails (I was originally planning this wedding from out of state), I was able to come down to her shop to see where the magic happens. She explained more detailed what she had sketched and even googled pictures of the flowers for me, like I said, I know NOTHING about flowers. She is truly passionate about what she does and I thoroughly enjoyed all of our conversations/meetings. I gave her an overall idea about what I wanted and let the details up to her. Let me tell you...She absolutely NAILED it. My bouquet was STUNNING and all the centerpieces were truly gorgeous - I received a ton of compliments on both. I LOVE this florist! I work in LA, but we have an office location at 1 Market Street in SF and I exclusively use Nigella for all my floral gifts to colleagues and friends in this office. A few reasons why:1. Delivery is FREE to people at 1 Market street (saves at least $15+ delivery fee that most florists charge in the area).2. The website is easy to navigate.3. The flowers are BEAUTIFUL! Arrangements are modern and they have such an amazing variety of unique flowers and arrangements. Best of all, the arrangements look VERY similar to the photos on their website. I can't tell you how many times I've ordered an arrangement at other florists, and when the recipient sends me a pic of what they receive to say thank you, how VERY different (and usually worse) they look from the online photos. Integrity is high here. 4. The prices are very reasonable compared to other florists for the quality you receive. I have been used to paying upwards of $75 for a small arrangement (+delivery fee) at other places (which is super steep) for an inferior product. Thank you Nigella for keeping your prices reasonable while keeping quality high.5. In the many orders I have made, they have always been able to accommodate the time delivery requests (i.e. early in the morning, or before 3pm). Thank you Nigella, I will continue to be a loyal customer!
