What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

The secret to creating a great and, more importantly, an EFFECTIVE photograph is understanding why your client needs that image, what it is they're trying to accomplish with that image, and how it ties in with their overall mission and vision. Communication is key to this process.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

What purpose will these images serve? What will you consider a successful image? What is most important to you about the photographs you'd like created? What do you NOT want in these images? Are there any special circumstances or requirements I need to be aware of?

What do you love most about your job?

I love taking on the different challenges of every project, meeting interesting people, and constantly learning about new businesses and industries and translating all of that into photographs that help people find more success in business or their personal lives.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I like the freedom of being able to directly help my clients without the filter of other objectives that may not deliver the best possible solutions. The ability to serve my clientele has a direct impact on my livelihood which drives me to do the absolute best I can for each of my clients.

Why should our clients choose you?

I believe the best images result from a collaboration between the creative and the client. Because of that, I do not take a "boilerplate" approach with any of my clients. I WANT to hear your input throughout the entire process so we can make the best decisions regarding the images I'm creating for you. I bring a truly personalized experience to your project with not only my photographic experience but also with twenty years of Fortune 500 and management experience and the understanding of what your messaging meant to your clients and your career.
