We had actually hired a different photographer well over a year before our big day on October 1st 2020. With less than 48 hours left, he had canceled on us, citing reasons due to the pandemic.
We had already had to cancel or change 90% of our wedding, shorten our guest list from 200 to a maximum of 50 and social distance at the event itself. I was in hell trying to find a photographer at the last minute who would agree to the price we had negotiated with our previous photographer, because that's the only money we had left in our wedding budget, the money we got back from the original photographer.
Enter Quincy. Not only did he go out of his way to contact me and agree to our price and our timeline, I actually found out later that he drove across state lines to get to our venue in time. The pictures he took were absolutely beautiful. My wife and I love looking over them and re-living that day through them. It's not just us either, everybody at our wedding had nothing but phenomenal things to say about him, his professionalism, and his skill as a photographer. It may not have been the dream wedding we first planned before COVID, but it was a perfect day nonetheless and we wouldn't be able to continuously enjoy that same euphoria from that day without the masterful photos taken by Quincy. I cannot say enough nice things about him, his character, his professionalism, his skill, and especially his willingness to take on a last-minute job to help a couple who needed him.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
I believe the secret is photographing a naturalism in my subject. By allowing them to not focus so much on posing and just communicating with them I have seen great success. My own secret sauce is getting to know my subjects beyond professional and client. The more I know about you, the less it feels like a stranger photographing you and the more it feels like family. It allows my clients authenticity to show.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How do you want to be photographed is my first question. I want to know about any insecurities they may have about being in front of the camera. I also gather as many ideas and details as possible so that I can map out the shoot for my clients.
What do you love most about your job?
Photography is my greatest passion and being able to create exceptional fine art photography that capture my clients best versions of themselves is my goal. A family portrait is so important to have. Its even more important to have inside of your house as a way to decorate and display the love that is being shared inside your home.
My portrait photography clientele spans from cities outside of Shreveport to cities such as Longview, Dallas & Seattle. Because of my work I am able to create memories and heirlooms for so many families that they can treasure forever.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I worked my 9-5 all I thought about all day was photography. My wife who is a hair stylist and my business partner comes home every day fulfilled knowing she is doing what she loves. She inspired me to take the leap so that I could feel the same. Starting my own business means I make the rules and get to decide how customer focused my business is. And it is 100%. customer satisfaction focused. The love I share for my wife made me want to seek out other couples in love and capture their special moment with them.

Investing in beautiful wall art is one of the best things you can do for your family and home. Our Fine Art Photography is something that is different and exciting. We create a total photographic experience by going the extra mile to create this work. It becomes a fun experience for the entire family. So much so that we gain many repeat clients who become like family to us.

No. I have to be there to capture every moment. I shoot 100% in my studio. It is the biggest part of the job. I do allow zoom meetings if needed.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
For starters I am 100% vaccinated. I also wear my mask during consultations and photoshoots for the comfort of my clients.
