What do you love most about your job?

What I love about my work is making minor modifications in someone's routine, supplemental regimen, or diet that are very conservative but yield a significant result without the use of pharmaceuticals (not eliminating current medications per se and definitely not without consideration provided by your prescribing physician), which often have major side effects. I love being able to offer top-notch care that is off the beaten path from traditional medicine that is effective and easy. There is no "cookie-cutter" approach and you will never get an automated system asking you to "press number... for..."

What inspired you to start your own business?

What inspired me to start my own business is the fact that the face of medicine has changed since Covid-19 and is still changing. I have seen many offices and providers stop seeing patients BECAUSE they were sick and some just simply go out of business. I have seen a large increase in turnover of staff within practices, and also I see a major decline in quality of care even down to noting the obvious incompetent comments arising from staff that reflect that they aren't even reading patients' charts before a callback, drive-through appointment, or phone consultation. Because I have seen a polarization in the quality of medical/health care; both the evolution and degeneration, I was simply fed up with all of the horror stories, including those told to me by my loved ones. I needed to be part of the solution.

My wide breadth of modalities and holistic care made me improve the fields of medicine and offer individuals a different and more cutting-edge approach to their healthcare. Integrative, holistic, and alternative medical disciplines offer a far more comprehensive, conservative, and concerted effort toward one's healthcare.

Why should our clients choose you?

First off, I have to say that clients should choose me because I care! I want to get to know you and your specific needs. If you approach me with an issue that requires immediate one-on-one care and I am not in your area at the time, I will find someone for you that is properly qualified to care for your issues. I will never leave someone in the lurch with no guidance on where to go. There is no ailment for which I will not facilitate proper and prompt attention. I offer phone consultations with a complete explanation of what your analysis states in terms that you can understand. I offer services, both remote and in-person, that no one else offers. They are completely unique and completely catered to each individual. As stated before, there is no cookie-cutter approach.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I can provide many services online, on the phone, via video conference/meeting, or a combination thereof. Obviously, certain services that require literal "hands-on" needs to be done in person, but I am happy to do in-home visits. Considering that everyone has busy schedules if you would like an in-home visit, we can always save time by doing a phone/video consultation, and I am happy to provide you with an initial intake form, or I can always also go over the initial intake form with you over the phone and I will fill it out for you. This can be done before we actually physically meet. However, there are definitely several services I can provide 100% remotely.

Consultation with other treatment providers, as part of integrative holistic healthcare, is always of benefit and is not only welcome but encouraged. This is mostly done by phone or email upon proper authorization by you, of course. On occasion, I have met with other practitioners in person. So a face-to-face meeting with your other providers is still within the realm of "normal." It helps build rapport between colleagues and facilitates more open and frequent communication for your benefit.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I offer remote services which have expanded my practice from mostly in-person to providing virtual solutions. I also offer video conference and phone consultations, medical record review and report, and integration with your other practitioners to ensure a cohesive team effort toward maximum results for your health. I also have expanded my education in this regard and am certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) in the specialty of Virtual Coaching (VCS).

As the panic from Covid-19 diffuses and more businesses "return to normalcy," people are eager to resume normal business habits. This is in all businesses and not only in healthcare. I am sure you've noticed. However, I think even though the panic has been diluted a bit, it has left society more conscious, and having a more alert sense of germs, infection, and hygiene/sanitization. Considering my history of maintaining sterile and aseptic surgical operatories spanning decades, I still consider the usage of hospital-grade disinfectant, various types of sterilization techniques, disinfection techniques, and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), are things that are at the ready in my toolbox. I consider each individual's needs, comfort level, and possible compromised immune system, when working with someone. I also consider my own. If I am even slightly "under the weather," I cannot possibly be doing my best for you. You deserve nothing less. I eliminate any possible risk. After all, rule #1 is "Do no harm."

Visits that are for in-person services, I suggest doing in-home visits. This provides you with less potential exposure to any germs and reduces your risk. It contributes to a more relaxed state of mind as well. You don't worry about "Do I have to stop for gas... get a ride... what time do I have to do xyz..." You get the picture. It is also much easier to not have to consider traveling back home when you're nice and relaxed.
