I've used massage. I've used acupuncture. And I've used chiropractic care. NOTHING has compared to my experience with Stretch Workz. My back has always been tight and I've been slumped over most of the day. My hamstrings have also been as tight as guitar strings. I am very pleased with my experience and results at Stretchworkz.  Elyse at the Silver Spring location listens to the specific concerns and then performs a variety of stretch techniques that relieve pain, soreness, and tightness in the lower back, neck, hips and ham strings.  As I have gotten older, I have come to see the benefits of stretching realizing the body gets tighter and less mobile, but stretch workz , like a massage, is something to look forward to as it is therapeutic and something that is good for you as well .  While a massage is somewhat of an indulgence in my view, stretching is a necessity along with strength and aerobic conditioning. I learned about Stretch Workz thru Groupon. I had never had an assisted stretch before I came to the Silver Spring office. I must say I was blown away. Loretta was my instructor and I was amazed at how she could read my body and movements to get the optimal stretch. After my Groupon was used I signed up for a membership. This Review is for the Silver Spring MD location.My stretch pro was Loretta. She was friendly and proficient. I had a good chat with her and because her schedule was accommodating, I was able to double my stretch session which was so lovely. I liked the room that we were in because it was private and had a large window with a venetian blind that allowed me to peek out to gaze at the tree and sunny blue sky laced with fluffy white clouds.The automosphere added to my relaxed feeling and increased my enjoyment of my soothing life enhancing stretch. Thank you! If you are on the fence as to whether to try a stretch session slide off that fence and book an appointment. You'll only be sorry that you hadn't tried it sooner. Its not just the name, it's true Stretch Works! Great way to relieve tension and promote blood flow to under used parts of the body. I have less tension, stiffness and muscular pain afterwards. The stretches are much deeper than what I achieve at home with a band. Get "Stretched", drink lots of water and keep a daily routine of even light exercise/walking will encourage your results. I just got done my first session with Loretta and I feel so relaxed and great. I didnt even know there are professionals specifically for stretching. I have chronic lower back pain ever since 2006 and had a lower back surgery in 2007. But the pain on my lower back and both sides of hip joint still remained and I have put up with this pain up to now. I just casually do stretching at home at the end of the day and have been getting deep tissue massage once a week for few yrs up to now but it didnt really work that great but I just kept doing it because I thought it is better than nothing. Then I was thinking of switching my massage theraypy to see how the others work for me then I accidently found Stretch Workz and decided to give it a shot. Now, Im glad that I found these people. After the session, I felt relieved and relaxed. I almost fell asleep while I was getting stretched by feeling good pain and relief. Loretta did a great job, very gentle but firm. She also gave me some suggestions to improve my mobility and taught me some stretching moves. I made second appt. w/ Loretta again also added 30min extra on original 60min session. I think getting a package w/ membership is a good deal but they have various deals and packages so you should check them out. If you have any pain on your body, you should see them and feel how it works for you. It is easier and convenient for me than getting massage since I dont have to take off/put back on clothes and deal with oily residue. Stretch Workz in Silver Spring is absolutely Phenomenal! The staff are professional with a very cozy family vibe. The environment is always clean and refreshing; AND THE MUSIC!!! Wow, this is great customer service company. The folks are great, nice environment with chill perfect music. There are several therapist to work with and all are skilled professionals. I had shoulder surgery two years ago and they were careful and helpful. Most important is the quality of the stretching. I have been working out for a while getting, back into shape but not always doing pre and post stretches. Having this work done with a stretching partner improved by performance, prevented injury and sped recover. Plus it provided longer lasting stress and tension release than a massage. More...

I came across Stretch Workz three years ago on Groupon and been coming ever since. It surprises me that a place like this doesn’t exist all over. In the words of the incomparable James Brown, "I feel good!"  My appointment was on Monday.  I went home by public transit in the rain.  I did not do as recommended and take a hot shower.  On Tuesday, I woke up feeling better after a massage or PT than I ever had.  I feel the same way today.  My reliance on my cane has already lessened.  I feel more energy.  I will be back and I will tell my friends.  The therapist answered all of my questions, was very professional, and obviously knows what she is doing.
