Find a Magician in San Jose

For our wedding we called on Alvin he gave us a sample of what he did in our home. My husband is Chinese and I am Mexican. We had Alvin go table to table performing his magic. It was wonderful for both families, loved it, even if you speak Chinese only or Spanish only you don't need an interpreter for this. The Show is so entertaining, he is so reasonably priced and easy to work with. He has a great personality. We got so much more than we expected. We are definitely going to use his services for more of our Parties. I think kids around 11 or 12 would have a lot of fun not any younger.  He is in Dublin but goes all around the Bay Area.

This past August we were searching for a special magician to entertain our 10 yr daughter and all her tween girlfriends at her birthday party in our home.  The act had to include at least one animal, be personalized and innovative.  Phil Ackerly - Magician exceeded all our expectations. Mr. Ackerly responded promptly to our email inquiry and worked to fit us into his schedule with little advance notice.  He customized the show specifically for the age of our guests and with our input.  He arrived with very professional looking equipment and was ready to perform in our family room in a matter of minutes.  Home photos and video taping was encouraged.Our daughter Kelsey was delighted that she was literally made his star assistant during several tricks.  Music accompanied each act.  Phil's performance included some old favorites with a twist and many new ones.  Money appearing inside a peanut shell, teaching us all how to do a rope trick step by step, a lot of audience participation, and the most adorable little bunny rabbit appearing as the grand finale.  Which the birthday girl got to hold in her lap while guests took turns petting him.What we loved the best about Phi's show were the personal touches that made our daughter and her guests all feel special.  He made a scarf appear with Kelsey's name on it and a special birthday wish for her to keep.  Our birthday girl had the thrill of her life when she was actually levitated with the help of her older brother.  Magician Phil took a Polaroid photo of our daughter while floating and included it in his thank you note after the party, which was a nice touch.  Mr. Ackerly gave out autographed cards from a deck used in his show to each guest, a bookmark and instruction packet on how to do some easy magic ticks at home, all for no additional charge.After the show Phil took time to talk with each of the guests and did some extra slight of hand tricks.  We definately got our money's worth because all ages were amazed, entertained and kept laughing the entire time.  Shy tween girls are a tough audience to please and Kelsey's friends are still talking about magician Phil's show six months later.

Jungle Joe has always been consistently amazing as a performer at our library. He is respectful, professional and the families love him!

So I rented a jumper from here and I was so pleased. I got a call from the delivery man I believe his name was Pat and he was able to come a little bit early which was great for me because I had some other things to do he set up the jumper he was super professional and super friendly make sure it was clean told me what time the pickup was and told me he'd be giving me a call around that time so everything was put in place my kids love the jumper and when he came to pick it up it was the next day because it was a late party so we even got to keep it overnight and my kids were just as static when he picked it up the next day he was just as friendly professional quick I would use them anytime as long as I got the same delivery guy thanks Pat

Bill’s selection of magic tricks were excellent. He easily entertained 70-80 guests for 2 hours. I highly recommend this competent magician.
