What’s your interior design process?
At BLD, our design process is hands-on from the moment a client and designer meet. When we initially start a project, that is where the excitement begins. Our designers will go to the client’s home and understand the environment and surrounding area and will take measurements of the space. Once our team has the measurements, we will draw floor plans to ensure that the spacing is correct prior to making any furniture selections. Once the floor plans have been drawn, the next stage in the process can begin, which is when the designer, in collaboration with the client, can select furniture items, materials, and create a mood board for the project. Once the designer has made their selections and the items have been drawn in the plan, we will then present the items to the client with material samples. Once the presentation is over, a quote, within budget, of the items will be sent to the client for approval. Once approved, our procurement team will order the selected pieces and we will schedule an installation day for all items. On the day of delivery, your designer will be on-site, with the white glove delivery team and they will ensure all items area accounted for and placed exactly where they should be.
