Carol is a thoughtful intuitive consultant. She determined the style that I like and helped me select furniture that I love for my vacation condo. She connected me with appropriate venders to customize the master closet as well as electronic shades for all windows and doors. She also helped me choose paint colors for the walls. The end result is beautiful. More...

Carol helped us with the design of a bathroom and the entrance to our home. We love the results! She was wonderful to work with, very professional, good at communicating with us and with the many workmen on the job, and good at solving all kinds of problems. We would use her again in a minute.

Carol was so kind and helpful. She listened to my lifestyle, figured out how to make my apartment reflect my tastes and needs and helped me choose some key pieces. I never would have thought to move the bed in the other direction without her and it really changed my space. Thanks so much, Carol! More...

Carol helped me with two projects. The first, decorating a living room, involved buying several pieces of new furniture and decorative pillows, reupholstering some old pieces, adding lighting and selecting frames for paintings and etchings. The process was collaberative and fun. In choosing fabrics we had to work around an existing rug with unusual colors. Carol was always spot on with the swatches she provided. The project proceeded efficiently and enjoyably.

The second project was a complete renovation of a guest room and bath. The challenge was to transform a damp, dark, ugly space into a light filled, inviting room. It involved installing radiant heat and new flooring, new windows, furniture, all new bathroom fixtures and tiles, and hot water on demand. Carol respected our budget and was a pleasure to work with.

Carol is a GREAT Interior Designer! I was looking for an Interior Designer with experience, style, and access to the latest bathroom innovations to help me figure out what I would really love in my new master bath. I also wanted to install French Doors in the downstairs dining room to enjoy my backyard easier. Carol took on both projects and the results exceeded all my expectations.

Carol assessed our family’s color likes and styles and came up with great solutions that both my husband and I loved – a challenge since we like different things! She is easy to work with and made sure that the end result reflected our tastes.

I was also looking for someone to interface with my building contractor – someone who would take care of all the details, scheduling, and purchasing. She was right on top of everything and was on-site constantly to work closely with my contractor. What a great experience!

I love my new master bath and French doors! The colors are beautiful. It feels great to be in these spaces. When we are ready to update the rest of our house, we WILL be calling Carol again. Thank you so much, Carol!

Q&As

Meet with the client discuss their needs and wants and to determine that we can work together. Depending on the scope of the work, I get plans and work from those to develop a concept or take the client shopping to get a feel for their likes and dislikes. I often ask clients to pull ideas from shelter magazines, too. I use these as a springboard to develop cold schemes, style and themes so the finished job reflects the client and not me, the designer.

Almost any. I'm not well versed in French (Louis XIV, XV, XVI) but am very comfortable with traditional, eclectic, mid-century, contemporary, arts & crafts.

What I love most is completing a job and having a very happy client. I love the construction process and seeing things HAPPEN!!! I love color and consider it one of my gifts as well as the ability to coordinate materials well.

The desire to help others live in environments that are pleasing to them. Provide a refuge and a nurturing home where clients can be refreshed and renewed.

We have a lot of experience and repeat clients. I care a lot that the solutions meet your needs over the long haul. I don't take the latest trends into account very much because they are often outdated quickly. I give my clients value.
