I cannot recommend them enough. They are, hands down, the best dog walking service in eastern Fairfax Cty and Alexandria. The employees are polite, friendly and wonderful with my dog. My pup is EXHAUSTED at the end of his 30 minute walk--which is the whole point of it. They always follow the rules (which I can't say for other dog walking services.) They send me emails with a photo after the walk. I call them PROOF OF LIFE receipts. They crack me up every time and, you know...it's a boost when you're trapped at work and realize that you don't have to worry about your pet. They've never let me down and have helped me when I've been delayed back from a trip or work has unexpectedly sent me out of town. These guys are the best--so much so my husband and I even considered getting another dog b/c we knew we had a great company to back us up.

I wholeheartedly recommend pets are family and Theresa! Theresa has been so fantastic with our elderly cat and our crazy flexible schedule. Have used her for over a year now, and she has always been super professional, kind, and extremely responsive. Pets Are Family is very well run as well. We recently had a family emergency, which had us leaving town with less than 24 hours notice. PAF not only accommodated us, but when we had to change our plans from one week to two weeks and finally to three weeks out of town, they accommodated every change with no issues. We could not have dealt with our emergency without them! PAF sends daily reports with pictures and details, so that you never have to worry about how your pets are doing. They will even get packages from your porch, water your plants, or get your mail if you need them to. I cannot say enough great things about Theresa and Pets Are Family, we are so lucky to have found them!

Â They are always there - even last minute - when I need them, whether for afternoon walks, dinnertime or even overnights when I travel for business. Â FETCH is really good about making sure I'm comfortable about any sitter before sending them (like if a sub is needed). Â I have an assigned sitter but if she's unavailable (rare!), there's always coverage ... so I'm absolutely certain I can get support as my crazy schedule shifts. Tail Wagging Dog Services is amazing! Our Chocolate Lab is shy, and it takes him sometime to get used to someone. We were able to meet up with Greg to talk about our dog Sam, and what works best while walking him. Greg was very understanding, and patient with our dog Sam. Not only did he take him for walks, but he took the time to work with Sam on his commands and tricks. Our dog also has Arthritis, so he made sure Sam was always comfortable on his walks.  Greg is reliable, and very flexible when scheduling the walks.  We always received updates  after evey walk, and pictures!
