When we needed a dog walker, I asked my neighbor. I had met one of the dog walkers employed at Tail Wagging Dog Services when they walked her dog. Tail wagging does great with cats too. Before moving to Northern VA, my cat was fortunate enough to have a second home with a friend. Once that wasn't an option, she staged a hunger strike at a pet motel. The motel's vet told me I should never leave her there again. She got used to Greg in just two days. We were in a bind due to our usual dog walkers having COVID and needed help walking our dog, Deacon our 70lb lab mix. Tail Wagging Team to the rescue! Greg and his team Of awesome, trustworthy walkers stepped in and helped us out with exactly what we needed. The service was super easy: we were able to schedule our walks the Greg, the owner, and get the times we wanted. Greg introduced us to the walkers we would have and they were all vetted, trained and background checked. The walkers were communicative, friendly, punctual and attentive. They really picked up on our dogs needs and even picked up on his little quirks And made him feel comfortable and safe. In turn, that made us feel so comfortable and happy knowing our sweet pup was so well taken care of And that he was happy during the day. We got texts when they were about to come and get Deacon, time stamps of when they left on the walk, a route map and tons of great pictures. When the walk ended, we got confirmation that deacon was safe at home, our place was always safely locked up and they gave us a report about how the walk went. Super helpful to know the bathroom report to, so we didn't have to rush to get home from work just to let him out! We reached out to Greg's team during a medical emergency to help us with dog walking and he really delivered - came in immediately, supported us to get his team to add us on, along within his regular schedule. He explained the process but also was mindful of our situation throughout the entire process.The walks are great: they come in, they are so kind, they do a full walk and leave these amazing messages with photos - like the attatched - to make you feel at ease. We highly recommend Greg and Tail Wagging Dog Services for anyone looking for dog walking services in the Arlington area. They have really been a huge help for us and in helping keep our pups sociable and active while we work . At first we were nervous about how our older dog Marley would react since he has a history of anxiety but Greg and his team came in and knew exactly what to do to gain his trust in the first meeting. If your dog is on the anxious side or doesn't trust anyone and you are nervous about how he will react, trust me, reach out to Greg. You won't regret it and your pups will be thankful.Communication is easy with Greg and team and he always asks what our walking needs are for the week so he can make the necessary arrangements to meet these. A terrific service! Greg's team of walkers are all professional, reliable, and communicative. We always receive reports from the walkers with details about the walk and photographs of our dog. Walkers make sure to check in on our pup's food and water status and make sure he hasn't gotten into any trouble. Although our schedule changes week to week, Greg has been accommodating and able to schedule us for the days we need. Greg and the tailwagging service were fantastic.  The initial intake and visit were easy and comprehensive.  Greg worked with me to establish exactly what I needed in terms of services offered.  He worked with us to get the coverage we needed even though it was a busy week.  We had a great discussion beforehand talking about what was expected in terms of care and  he was happy to continue the commands and basic care that our dog was accustomed to.  Greg was very communicative and we came up with a plan for watching and walking the dog while we were away.  He let me know exactly who was coming and when, and worked with us to determine the best way to get into our apartment and stop in to perform the walks.In terms of the actual service, I was very happy.  The prices were reasonable and the communication was impeccable.  Given that we were out of town it was great to be in constant communication with Greg and the other walkers.  They let us know exactly when they were coming and how long the walk was, and left a personalized note and pictures about how the walk went.  They worked with us in terms of ensuring that all facets of our dog's care was attended to while away, answering any questions and fulfilling small requests.  Overall a fantastic company.  Flexible, communicative, and very effective.  Will definitely be a return customer. When I moved to Arlington over a year ago, I was worried about finding a dog wallet that I trusted. I don't like using apps where random people come in and walk your dog. I was so happy to find Greg and his team. They are so professional, have great communication, and I never worry about the safety of my pets. The original meet and greet was so thorough and I could immediately tell that Greg is well trained and very knowledgeable when it comes to taking care of animals. Greg and his team are awesome--reliable, flexible, and friendly. I've been using their services for seven months without a hitch. My son is a pandemic puppy, so my heart was broken when my time of remote work came to an end. I knew I needed to find a walker, but had reservations about who I could trust in my home and with him. Enter Greg and Tail Wagging Dog Services. I was immediately comforted by the high level of communication and professionalism I experienced. In addition to the patience and kindness of everyone who has walked with my child (which God will bless them for because he is QUITE an energetic Chocolate lab), after each walk I receive pictures (which always make my day) and detailed reports which include the walking path and bathroom updates. We absolutely trust Greg with our "grandma dog" - she's 13 years old and needs a little extra TLC. Greg is great at giving her attention and love, treats, gentle walks, and now that she's older, her meds, too. And he sometimes splits the walks with Nema - and Nema is also wonderful! We appreciate getting updates on where they've walked - including "action shots" of the walks and where they've been! We also have a cat that they help with - she doesn't need as much attention, but it helps to know they're keeping an eye on her food and water, too. I highly recommend them! More...

I highly recommend Tail Wagging Dog Services. Greg and his employees are timely, communicative and my dogs LOVE them!! They get so excited to go on walks when they arrive to pick them up. I have two French bulldogs and a cathoula hound mix and they all come back happy as can be! I have been using them for over a year now and I trust them whole-heartedly. Can't say enough good things about this company. When I moved to Virginia from New York City, I found rover to be pretty useless (in my specific neighborhood). I work crazy hours and long days so I needed a reliable team to take my pup out mid day and sometimes a walk with dinner included depending on my work schedule. I happened upon this company one day when my apartment building was hosting a doggie friends event. The owner and all his walkers take really good care of my pup AS WELL AS send updates on when the walk begins, the route they take, any potties on the walk, and when they return. Greg connected us to Ben and Chelsea for dog-sitting in their home for a long weekend. It was super easy to connect, and I loved being able to meet everyone in advance of the dog sitting. When it came time to drop off my dog, Macie, she was SO excited to see her new friends and settled in quickly. We got photos and videos all weekend long, and I was worried she wouldn't want to come home because she was having so much fun. Greg is the best dog walker in the whole wide world. He loves dogs more than anyone I ever met and knows how to deal with any dog big or small. He's so incredibly flexible. Greg did a wonderful walking Winnie! Very timely and communicative, as well as courteous of our work from home zoom hours. Highly recommend Greg and his team for weekly dog walks and bathroom breaks. Schedule is created the weekend before, so no need for a set schedule (unless you want one). Walks are rain or shine, which wasn't a problem for us! Tail Wagging Dog Services is amazing! Our Chocolate Lab is shy, and it takes him sometime to get used to someone. We were able to meet up with Greg to talk about our dog Sam, and what works best while walking him. Greg was very understanding, and patient with our dog Sam. Not only did he take him for walks, but he took the time to work with Sam on his commands and tricks.
