I engaged with WagALong in hopes of finding an alternative to your typical doggie daycare for my five year old maltese/Yorkie (morkie) Darla. I work in the office two days a week and needed the support while not home to take care of her— Feedback: 1. I first met with Ryan Newman for an introductory meeting and instantly my dog took to him. We then decided to test a couple schedules that work well for me and my dog while I am in the office. We ultimately came to the decision of the following schedule; Monday: 2 20 minute walks late am and afternoon Wednesday: 1 hour play time at the park and afternoon 20 minute walk All I did was get them a key fob and it’s been a breeze working with wagalong since— they send me a text after every walk letting me know if she went to the bathroom and any new details or insight. It’s a very cute/thoughtful gesture. 2. Cost; it is so inexpensive when you support local business — (less than 300 bucks!) 3. Other pros - flexibility (I have changed the schedule with less than 24 hours notice) - training and social time - Darla is able to learn and interact with other dogs - exercise - I live in an apartment and love that they get her moving since she is very active - alternative option to daycare: my dog needs to be exercised and let out frequently- these walks are perfect for her and she LOVES them. It is important you know your babysitter just like you want to know your dog sitter. I am confident that Ryan only hires the best and recommend his expertise and service to all locals looking for an excellent easy and inexpensive service— I love wagalong! More...

What do you love most about your job?
Simply, there are 3 things:
1) Working with dogs (duh!)

3) Making peoples' lives easier and relieving stress by taking care of their beloved pet and taking one more "to-do" off their plate.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to enjoy my job and I knew working with animals was the best way for me to get there.
