Ok, I admit I was a little skeptical when I saw Midwest VIP DJs statement of 15 years experience with no Yelp reviews. I hired him to perform at my Mom's 90th Surprise Birthday party, but I figured if he didn't do a good job i would  just ask him to leave early, and the party would still turn out okay. However, Ron was FANTASTIC!! He was professional from start to finish. He was on time with his equipment set up ready to go when the guests started arriving. He kept the party flowing and was flexible and responsive to changes in the flow of the party.  The highlight of his performance was definitely during the post-dinner dance party. Great spinning in keeping with the general guidelines I provided on music. Plus he took requests from a wide variety of music genres. Everyone had a great time and even my Mom was out there cutting a rug!  And to top it it off, Ron was the least expensive of those I interviewed!  I was exceptionally pleased with his performance and would definitely use his services again if I had the need. He is definitely your best bet if you are looking for a DJ in the Chicago area!!

BOOM DJs put together a last minute request on my behalf since I didn't have a DJ for my wedding. They quickly assembled together an EDM/House mix along with a playlist of popular wedding tracks comprised of pop and hip hop tracks from the 2000s and 2010s based on a list I gave them. BOOM DJs mixed all the tracks seamlessly and professionally in a couple of days for me. After having a horrible experience booking a DJ for our wedding (our first DJ flaked on us), my then-fiance and I had to start looking for a DJ for our wedding with only 6 months to go. Â We went online and looked all over, met with over 10 DJ services, and couldn't find the right fit. Â Then, we met with Dennis from A DJ For You, recommended by our videographer, and we were set. Â Dennis is absolutely wonderful. Â He drove to meet us before we'd even signed a contract, and was just great to talk to. Â It wasn't a hard-sell consultation, just a nice chat about weddings, music, lighting, and what he could do for us. Â He gave us some ideas of pricing, and we were able to pick a deluxe package with great lights without any hidden costs or fees.They gave us a loaner iPod that had a ton of popular wedding songs, in addition to some planning tools. Â We were able to design as much or as little of our reception as we wanted to. Â Dennis met with us before the wedding to go over the intros and over the songs we picked, and really made us look forward to our day.Then, the night before the wedding, I panicked. Â I thought about a bunch of songs we'd wanted played at the reception, and had forgotten to email Dennis. Â At 11:30 p.m. the night before my wedding, I emailed Dennis with a list of songs we'd forgotten to send him, but that I would understand if he couldn't play them or get them due to the short notice. Â Dennis delivered - and each of those special requests was played.Dennis also brought an assistant with to our wedding, who was equally personable and very helpful to me as the bride.People have told us how they have never danced so much at a wedding, or how they've never seen so many people on a dance floor at a wedding. Â It was a GREAT time.Working with Dennis was a pleasure - and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ. Â Tell him you were recommended by Michelle and Adam.

"Russ was amazing. We utilized his DJ and photo booth services. As a DJ, he was amazing. Stuck to our "no play" list (even though our family did not), kept the night moving along, and was the most flexible part of our wedding. He had everything organized when we arrived at our venue, and verified everything with us when it was convenient for us. The photo booth was a pipe and drape so many people could fit inside. The photo booth operator was so sweet and helpful, and let our guests print as many of the photos as they wanted. We also had an issue with a sign displaying our hashtag, and Russ added our hashtag to the bottom of our photo booth print outs. Any song we asked for was played (even though we gave him our top 10 must play songs a half hour before our wedding started!) He checked in with us with a half hour left to make sure everything we wanted to hear was played and if there was anything else he could do. I wish there were more than 5 stars we could give! Thank you Russs!!"
