Keeping the party dancing all night is a matter of experience with watching and feeling the energy of the crowd as well as being able to cater to the requests of the people. Different people like different music, and although there is usually a general theme for each event, specific songs can make all of the difference. I have extensive experience in "moving the crowd," which includes controlling culturally divers crowds who's music choices normally may not work together. Knowing your music and meshing with the audience is the secret and can only be mastered with experience, of which, I have over 10 years.
I would describe my style as worldly unlimited. I am into so many different genres and cultures of music, that it all moves me and allows me to have fun with any crowd.
The most inspiring aspect of my job is not only making and seeing people enjoy themselves but enjoying myself as well with the crowd. We party and have fun together!
Since i was in High School, I have always loved music. whether it was singing, dancing, playing the piano or whatever, I was into it. Then one of my close friends had a basement party that he DJ'd with his own equipment. i asked if i could try, and i quickly realized that i had a knack for counting beats and blending music. He actually let me finish the party! i had such a blast that i decide to start doing small events on my own and realized i could actually make money doing this!! Thus started my DJ career!
